erkwang
Im biased, but the Sandking is capable of so much more than the Rebel. The clearance and crawling power is unmatched. Although the rebel looks awesome, it is pretty weak performance wise. To each his own though. Cornbat
Jackie_R
I'd go with the Sandking as well. Very imposing when compared to most other PVs.

Malibu454
Sandking SWB FTW! Handles much better than the XL and doesn't have the turn radius of a bus. reform
MookStunna
I'm biased. This is my second Sandking I've owned. Only sold the first because I needed money at the time. I prefer the SWB to the XL. Everytime I have driven a Rebel, I wasn't all that impressed. It can't straight run over things like the Sandking. Both are underpowered. The Sandking is 4WD, can't confirm the Rebel. LOTS of options to customize with too. Malibu454
MrCamo
The rebel is better for high speed the Sandking is better for high water and crazy crawling/climbing The double tube roll bar makes the rear window of the sandking bulletproof btw jtet37

If you wanna haul ass off road and throw yourself into some interesting turns, use the rebel. If you wanna climb and have laughs crushing people, Sandking. Red Lynx 23
I have a rusty Rebel to mod beyond full coverage after the next update and things I need to buy first. Then I'll also have a whole other garage, and a Sandking will take one of the spots in it.
JC Hammer
I think the Sandking is a disaster as far as truck styling. Looks like a 90's era Tundra. But the clean Rebel looks like an 80's Toyota, so to each his own. For me it will always be the performance and many mods of the Rusty Rebel!! KristoLewis
Had a sandking to go offroading with mates, then just got bored of it and traded it for a clean rebel. JC Hammer
ashbashbluesfan
Rebel is faster and handles better due to it's smaller size, it's better at steep climbs than the sandking due to better power to weight ratio. Sandking has huge clearance to go straight over road barriers and vehicles, being higher up also makes it more difficult to be shot at, the painted double rollbar mod makes the rear window 100% bulletproof. It's great for general off-road and rivers, rocks etc. SWB and XL are identical except the swb has a shorter turning circle meaning it handles better when turning. Actually the sand King is a ford super duty and it's awesome. Shame they don't have a diesel option because with a tuner in real life they are quicker than Camaros and similar sports cars. Get an XL and an SWB in an open space, and just drive in a circle, steering all the way to the right (or left). You'll notice that the SWB can drive in a slightly smaller cirlce than the XL due to the smaller distance between the front and rear wheels of the SWB, hence "SWB" (Short wheel base). XL (Front Wheels) O-----O (Back Wheels) SWB (Front Wheels) O---O (Back Wheels) The shorter wheelbase also leaves less of a gap for things to get stuck undernieth the truck, meaning the SWB will beach less easily than the XL. All the XL has going for it over the SWB is the extra 2 seats. Edited April 6, 2014 by reform Malibu454

I didn't watch the videos and your retarded for believing youtube videos. I've had both trucks and I kept the SWB edit: I see Reform explained in simpleton terms for you to understand better. Thx. But the clean Rebel looks like an 80's Toyota, so to each his own. It's definitely based off the ford super duty with bushwacker fender flares and step guards: The Tundra (if that's what you are speaking of) debuted in 1999 as a 2000 model so there was really no "90's Tundra" and looks a LITTLE bit but nothing compared to the Ford and it's NO where close to the size of the Sandking in the game. I highly doubt Rockstar would use an unpopular Toyota Tundra over the #1 selling Ford either. (Toyota Tundra) As for the rebel, it is for sure a Toyota Tacoma(Hilux). yoloswag420xd
I own the Merryweather Mesa, Sandking XL, and Clean Rebel, and have them all fully upgraded, all with stock suspension. If you want speed on non-steep trails, the Rebel is the best. But if you want to go over rocks, through rivers, or just go up steep hills, then the Sandking is the best! muddeprived
Stupid question but where do you get the clean rebel? I haven't seen a non-rusty version since playing the game. I really want one for my last spot in the garage.
Deadly Aviator
If you can only get one, get a sandking, the SWB has better clearance, but ofc the XL allows you to take 4 people, so you decide what you want I've been off roading with guys in rebels and sandkings and trust me the rebels have a hard time keeping up, and I've driven it myself and been less than impressed. sultangris
Even the vapid logo is oval like Ford. They can't copy the cars exactly due to copyrights but they are close. The suv is a ford edge. If you know anything about cars you will see the resemblances on all of them.

There are 3 spawn points on this beach that can spawn either the clean rebel, the camper, the journey, the sandking, and I think the bobcat. You can either; A. Keep driving down to the beach, If it's not there, bump into the cars that are there to force a respawn when you return. Drive away and come back, repeat until success. or B. Set spawn point to last location.Drive down to the beach, if they're not there, drive away and start a new invite only session, driver down to the beach, if they're not there, repeat. B will probably work faster, but to keep changing sessions is more effort, so it's up to you. Edited April 6, 2014 by reform
muddeprived
Oh it's on the beach? I hardly ever play on the beach so that's probably why I was never able to find one. I'll check it out. Thanks dude!
REXX
I purchased a Vapid Sandking XL on the net yesterday. I must say, it was $45.000 well spent. One thing that is impossible to notice is how big it is! I believe the Rebel's handling is a little better than the Sandking XL's due to the fact that it is much smaller. The Sandking has more power and is a little higher than the Rebel. I would have thought it would be better simply by comparing how much they cost. I think the Rebel is $3.000 if I can remember rightly and the Sandking XL is $45.000, but yes, I could be wrong. Whatever 4x4 you like, enjoy offroading with it! REXX
I spent ages looking for the Sandking XL around the map. Only the Sandking spawned so I gave up a purchased it. Well, at least no one else has sat in it and I know its 100% mine! I eventually found a Sandking XL at Vespucci Beach parked where you normally find the Jetski's. Was a little pissed off to find one after buying one but hey, as I mentioned earlier, it was $45.000 well spent!
