What to grind for...

Currently have half a million banked, which i was using as a basis to grind towards a buzzard. But with the spring update announcement coming yesterday, i'm now unsure whether to save the cash for new apartments or limited one-offs, or grind for the buzzard and hope that it makes it easier to replenish the cash.

So what would you advise?

My thanks in advance.

Depends how desperate you are for another apartment.

Buzzard will help you recoup your money, but only fractionally, it'll still take a lot of grinding.

I fortunately have everything I want, so my grind is purely for a second garage and one-offs.

If I were in your shoes I would probably wait for a second apartment, just because I'd prefer that to a Buzzard, comes down to your own preferences though

Limited one-off's hands down. I mean, their limited. They are only there for a certain amount of time whilst the rest of the stuff will be there forever and you'll have more than enough time to purchase those things.

I've got almost 3million in the bank and about 5 adders left on my second character so I think I'm all good for my second garage.

dont grind just glitch the cars in from story mode or do the dupe/sell adder glitch

Set a goal (x amount of dollars) for yourself. That's what I did when I saw the news. I figure $5 million will be enough, i'm currently at $2.5 million. A couple of hours of RR each night this weekend and I'll be good come next week.

If I were in your shoes I would take the buzzard first.

Who knows what bugs will come when players gain the second apartment and more cars. I'm not willing to risk my hard earned cash on stuff I could possibly lose because of the lack of testing.

I already have everything I want, have 3 million in the bank, but when the update is released, I'll hold back on any new additions until I see it is actually safe to do so.

Just my 2 cents...

I can't wait for the "Duplicate you Garage" glitch... that's gotta happen

If you're saving up for another apartment first then that means you'll have to slowly fill up that garage with cars. And cars = cash.

Buzzards are always available, but they make hard missions with better pay out easier like Judging the Jury / Trash Talk / Mix up with Coke. But then again you can get easier jobs like Rooftop Rumble or the Defender for better pay outs too. /Sigh/

If I was you, I would just keep grinding until I save up enough THEN decide what I'll need and buy first. Try the cars first in Story Mode and see if you'll actually like them rather than buying them off and wasting your money. Or you can always ask someone to dupe the limited car(s) if you just wanna save up for an apartment or a buzzard first. :colgate:

Damn, ya'll bottom feeding peasants. Here kid, join a crew with one of your friends. Go to Online>playlists>challenges then check if there are any "races" up for 250,000; additionally try to find ones with a time under 1:00. You and your friend must have 250k cash on your person (not bank).

What you're doing is staking that money and then when your friend joins the race (pay attention to this part), you both hit confirm once in the race, then the individual who staked the cash (started the race) backs out and then the one who joined resumes and hits ready to play. Only after they've both confirmed, though; remember.

After the race is finished, just go through the end of race prompts as per usual and you will get your substantial lump sum at the very end. Rinse, Wash, Repeat.

Have fun.

Ps. The challenges are very slightly rare and get taken down often. So capitalize on them when you see them

Thank you for all your replies. I was going to try and hit the 5 million mark and then decide, like Ninjambie suggested, but then after playing with a guy who wiped out the opposition in a buzzard in a coveted playlist, i did the maths and worked out it would be 280,000 for just over half an hours work!

Minieye, thank you for your suggestion, but just in case Rockstar label such behavior as 'nefarious' (I don't think it is, BTW), I will shy away. I fairly dread my Roose disappearing!

A lot of people will tell you to buy the Buzzard because it will help you recoup the losses quicker. It's bullsh*t. You can still farm RR (for the moment) without needing to spend 1.75 million on a Buzzard. So my advice is don't bother with one, save your money for a second apartment/garage or an exclusive one-off vehicle.

You should buy Ft Zancudo first.

Op,you should buy one-offs>Second property then the Buzzard since it spawns most of the time.Except you want to complete Mixed up with Coke,Trash Talk easily.

Why not buy Fort Zancudo?

It would give you free access without getting shot so you could get your Lazer.

Agreed, Farming RR and Coveted will always be faster if your ADD can handle it. I can't, I'd rather use a buzzard and have fun playing the game then get on the hamster wheel with everyone else.

OT: If you're thinking about buying a buzzard, why not wait to see what the hunter is like? It could be the chopper that tops the buzzard for all we know.

I wonder... if the payout per time needed for some Heists will render RR and Coveted a thing of the past for grinding?

If so, it would be a waste of time to grind RR and Coveted now.

The Buzz will make the Missions more Fun but you really won't make your money back, so I'd wait and see what the Updates are 1st.

Either way your gonna need beaucoup bucks, so In the meantime Grind away.

Really don't get this logic. Heists aren't available, so RR and Coveted are the best legit way to make money now. They are by no means useless. When the heists do come out, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a cool down timer on them, or they'll only become available when your contacts call you. In any case, I'd be highly surprised if Rockstar makes heists grind able.
