Money Saving Tips

1) never buy ammo; if you need ammo, play a custom deathmatch such as juggernaut's "load up on ammo" or do a survival and grab a minigun; do not buy every weapon and upgrade them all; only buy what you will use or need; i recommend the sawed off (free), AP pistol, micro SMG and SMG, assault rifle, sniper rifle, and assault shotgun; you can upgrade your rifles as you unlock them; you don't need the other shotguns, pistols, smg, or machine guns unless you want them

 

2) never buy a premium car that you intend to sell, as you will lose a lot of money; make your premium car purchases wisely so you get the car you want the first time; you can try out most or all of the cars using content creator or single player

 

3) do not respray your cars over and over; pick the color you want the first time, or if you want to try a variety of colors, experiment in SP first

 

4) the first time you unlock a mission, play on hard and do your best to pass; also, if you fail, press R2 at the end, not x to continue, as you will still get double pay on the 2nd attempt; in general, you should endeavor to play on hard difficulty, as this will net you 1.5x normal pay

 

5) sell a car every 48 minutes, ideally a baller or felon, but the oracle, dubsta, and cavalcade will do in a pinch; sometimes a whole slew of ballers or other good car will spawn; if you have room you can grab 2-3 and store them in your garage (thus your first big purchase should be an apartment with 10 car garage); credit to JON22 below for the suggestion to find and sell gang cars such as the tornado or peyote near Cypress Flats, Grove St, etc., that will sell for 12K

 

6) focus on the most lucrative missions; i.e. if you like missions try to play Rooftop Rumble and get invited if you are below rank 75; if you are not carrying the case back to Martin's and you are eligible to sell a car, go to the area where the Adder spawns in single player or the gang areas to look for an expensive car to sell; when the mission is over if you go to free roam and are in the car you want to sell you will still be in the car in free roam

 

7) always carry sticky bombs (you can get for free or just buy as they will pay for themselves) and always go for armored cars; you may get 4-5 at a time or more

 

8) if a large (9K) bounty is placed on you, consider going to invite only session and letting the bounty timer expire (48 minutes) as you will get the money

 

9) If you are near the HPV (high-priority vehicle) it is worth knowing whether it is worth your time to take and sell; generally, cars that normally sell for 5 k or more are worth selling; you will get approximately twice the cost of the car for delivering the HPV, i.e. if you take an f620 to Simeon you will get around 16K

 

10) Do not give into the temptation to destroy other player's vehicles, or, if you are accident prone, avoid using explosives around other players; avoid detonating sticky bombs on armored cars that are being chased by other players; blowing up an adder can cost $12,500 for example; also, currently tanks can blow up PVs with impunity and you will be stuck with the insurance fee, so AVOID tanks

 

11) Deposit your hard-earned cash frequently, as you can drop up to $500 if it's not deposited into your bank account when you die; if you are a pacifist like me stay in passive mode and you won't be responsible for hospital bills

 

12) Load up on snacks, especially EgoChasers! Use them during missions when your health is low! They can mean the difference between life and death, and if you pass rather than fail a mission, you will save much time and make much more money in the long run than if you don't pay a few bucks for snacks

 

13) if you need to unlock the more lucrative missions, load up on RP quickly by making or bookmarking an extremely short custom race such as "fastest race ever" which takes around 19 seconds to complete; then, make a playlist (the same race 10x in a row for example) and race it repeatedly; you will get thousands of RP every minute

 

Some of this is common sense, but if you follow this guide you will get rich quickly! Remember, you do not need to hack/glitch/mod to get wealthy! Add your tips below, and I will add them to this list and credit you of course!

You need a friend (or enemy) and if you want all weapons including minigun friend should be >120; also, you can pick up at most 6 stickybombs/grenades/molotovs

In between selling cars, I just do gang attacks for free ammo and a bit of extra cash. Also when I sell cars, I check an area near cypress flats where a modded Tornado may spawn and sell for over 12000. If I'm really bored and can't be bothered playing other games, and the game don't freeze, I could do this for hours in solo for loads of money, but I'm not a hardcore player so don't do it as much as I would like.

also I want to add, if you can do a Survival + Crystal Clearout III list (1 survival 1 Crystal Clearout all x5 or 10) you could make a loud of money.especially if you're a Survival Lover. I'll make that list as soon as I get into the game again.

20,000 (1st S) + 18,000+ (1st M) + 18,000 (2nd M) + 20,000 (2nd S) 11,000+ (DM if you got above 100 kills) = $87,000+

$87,000 X 2 = $174,000+

$87,000 X 3 = $261,000+

.....................

$87,000 X 5 = $435,000+

 

**NOTE: when you play the FIB DM, make sure to turn off the kill count/score and make the timer as 60 Minute/1 Hour. I made 11k+ from this.
