Making GTAO less "GTA-ish"

So with the inclusion of passive mode, player reporting and the ability to turn off catchup/drafting/contact in races - do you think that Rockstar is trying to make the GTAO experience more civilized and less of a clusterf*ck?

i wouldn't say it makes it less GTA-ish, it just adds variety to how people can play, and GTA (to me) has always been about variety

Truth

 

You know what I think would be a good addition? Perma-death. If your character dies in freeroam then you lose everything and have to start over. Think about it - the reason people act like idiots in freeroam is because there are no consequences. If you lost everything when you die then you would think twice before attacking someone. Plus if you killed someone you would have to worry about thier new character, or thier friends, coming to exact revenge and take you out!

 

Or if permanent death wouldn't work then make it so the person killed wouldn't be able to log in that character for a couple days and give the killer a very stiff fine.

f*ck everyone saying ghost racing is a stupid addition. People suggest being "better" at driving, but that doesn't mean jack sh*t when you brake and coast into a turn only to have someone ram you up the ass with the force of Zeus's dick. No amount of "skill" is going to help you when every single god damn person you attempt to slip stream and overtake purposely swerves into you.

 

The community is filled with assholes, mostly 14 year olds who shouldn't even be playing the game. So yeah, I'm all for these changes and more.
