One sniper shot to the wing can screw you over. But most people probably don't know this.

I have many strategies, but the most successful are:

1. Hovering in a chopper at max altitude. I like to put it right over a street so I can watch all blips circling around on the ground trying to find me. The downside is that it's boring as hell.

2. Camping on top of the Maze Bank. It's fun picking people off who try to fly a helo at you or parachute down. Smart players will go stealth and come at you with a Buzzard.

3. There's a spot just below the Chilad summit that is only accessible by foot. You can see anyone coming from miles away and pick them off with a sniper rifle as soon as they're in range.

Improv chase, every time. If no one chases me I just get 4-stars then find the biggest cluster of blips on the map and keep driving by people until they start chasing me, then take them for a ride. From there it really all depends on where I (we) started from, where other blips are (I want as many people chasing me as possible), what I'm being chased by, and where I feel like going. I usually try to take it all over the map to see who's really game for the chase (a few people inevitably give up), but if I have to make a standoff my go-to spots are the bank on Vinewood Boulevard (the chaos outside is the best defense) or the top of Mt. Chiliad.

The Bounty-Mobile. 3 AP pistols and a sticky-bomb happy driver make this thing a rolling death-machine.

that's a real nice car.

When an entire lobby is after you all options are on the table and the rules of engagement change

Yea but lets be realistic it won't be easy and the scope can only cover so much distance and is useless when that plane hits a high enough altitude.

Most my bounties come from NPC's in invite only so I'll get to the mini-sub at Merryweathers Docks, change my spawn location to last location, join a public lobby, jump in sub and sit at 400ft depth and go do something else.

Bob Mullet. Nobody can kill you there. Only weakness that hiding place has is that depending on where you stand, a passive mode guy can push you out of the map and make you respawn in the street, making you vulnurable.

If anyone manages to push me, as i fall thru the map, i quickly join a new session and repeat.

Hate on it.

Where is this spot?

I admit i've never really explored the mountains so i have no clue of the hiding spots around there

I don't escape bounties. When I have a bounty on me I do something akin to streaking. I get the fastest vehicle I can find and rip past as many players as I can and build up an entourage until someone finally kills me. I'd rather get shot right away and lose the bounty than change how I'm going to play for the next half hour or whatever. Usually I get a couple kills in before they get me anyway.

I open fire at the door, which closes the shop letting me waltz in and gun you down. Or fire explosives inside. Haven't you ever been killed shopping before?

Maze bank with a tank is my favorite, other than that I like to see who can catch my Adder, to this day none can say they have.. Unless I went offroad and flipped my car.

first i jump in my sultan and haul ass to the airport across the lake from trevors airfeild. take the cuban 800 and fly over to LAX. land there and take a luxor BACK up to the top of the map and hop back in my sultan and drive around the top of the map. if they follow me over there, i set my gps back to my apartment at RM. (just to get back to the city) i fly past my apartment and keep bookin it down to the construction sites and climb the crane. When they climb up after me, i parachute down to my sultan and take off again until the bounty is mine to keep :]

On the side opposite the gondolas. Just drive up as far as you can go, then get out and hoof it up the steepest area until it's almost vertical and you can't climb any more.

I like getting up on top of the cranes at the docks. Most people suck with the sniper rifle so it's usually easy pickings. 90% of the time I just drive into a group of people and let them kill me. The only drawback to that is the fact that the players in this game just want to kill you over and over for no reason even after they've collected the bounty $$.
