How do you escape bounties?

When you have a Bounty on you how do you go about escaping the many coming to claim it?

 

Besides going into a private lobby.

 

I usually don't care and don't try and avoid being killed when i have a bounty on me but sometimes i do try and avoid being killed.

 

I have several times i like to do when i want to bait people.

 

Thee top three are my favorite ways and the others are just ways I've done it before

 

I Put a tank on the top of the Maze Bank and wait for those poor, poor souls coming to get me in a helo i have yet to be killed using this method there reaction when they are killed is funny because they can't believe i killed them with a tank.

 

Getting a submarine and going out into the ocean and just stay in one general area and watch the dots flying around or on a boat and eventually they give up because they can't find me.

 

Getting to the top of a building with little places to hide so when they come with a helo or try to come up themselves they can't see me but i can see them.

 

Getting onto the Subway or trains and ride them around the city. it's funny watching them driving trying to find me they usually eventually give up when i jump on the subway or train.

 

Not many people know this but when you get onto the little subway that have stops along the city are almost bulletproof I've been shot at before while riding the subway but way never injuries or killed.

 

Although i don't take to the air very often when i have a bounty if i do it's always in a jet never a helo i've had a couple close calls in a dog fight i always came out on top because people forget how to use there cannons if those people would have used there guns i would've been killed.

 

So how to you avoid getting your bounty claimed?

People forget they even exist.

Cannot tell you how many times you see white dots over you while people accuse you of being invisible and hacking.

Glitching into places is just as bad as going into your apartment or a private lobby, IMO.

 

Subway lines can work out nicely, or hopping onto a train and riding it around the map. One time I got my Marquis and sailed out to Ocean, just far enough to be out of firing range and then just stayed out there.

I dont even bother anymore really, when I get bountys, I dont try , I will purposely put myself around other players so they will claim it so I can carry on .

 

But I am going to try some of the things in the OP next time

I don't bother escaping mostly because I don't kill people randomly in multiplayer so I end up getting killed a lot anyway. Usually I just wait for someone to come and I let them kill me just to get it over and done with.

 

Other times if there are a few people chasing me I'll try a high speed chase for fun. I usually duck into a dead end alley, get out of my car, gun down all the cars following me in, then speed out.

The subway is my main method but beware of explosions. Those explosions will get you.

After all the sub driving in SP I never want to touch the damn thing again.

 

OT: I jump in my Duster and buzz people. I had an epic round the map chase with two low level guys in a Maverick last week - for a $1K bounty

Hop in something like a Cuban 800 or Mammatus (want something moderately fast/agile, but not too much so), and get as high as possible - then follow the road as best you can.

 

Cue a string of confused wannabe-bounty-hunters driving around, trying to figure out the glitch you used to make your car invisible...

Haven't tried this one yet but I believe you can take a submarine underwater and just sit there as people try flying over you trying to figure out when they'll see your head pop up.

I open the players list,find the lowest level player,send a message like " come take this bounty".I think it's the best way to escape a bounty

Hiding in a shop.

Leaving the lobby I'm in.

I love to go into the tunnels, TMNT style and hang for a bit. When I get bored (no one EVER goes down there...) I try to make my escape to the Meth lab, and usually die there. Often I kill myself in the lab with dumb grenades, or the cops wall-breach and kill me.

Exactly!!! More often than not I see the dots cris-crossing above me, just trying to figure it out.

I only do two things.

1. I get on the train. That is fun because you have access to all of your weapons while on a moving vehicles. But it's no fun when they blow up the front train and stop it

2. Just run from them in my Entity. It's just super fun to be in a fast car chase, especially when they can keep up with you in an equally fast car, so it just comes down to skill and trying to dodge the traffic.

Improv chase, every time. If no one chases me I just get 4-stars then find the biggest cluster of blips on the map and keep driving by people until they start chasing me, then take them for a ride. From there it really all depends on where I (we) started from, where other blips are (I want as many people chasing me as possible), what I'm being chased by, and where I feel like going. I usually try to take it all over the map to see who's really game for the chase (a few people inevitably give up), but if I have to make a standoff my go-to spots are the bank on Vinewood Boulevard (the chaos outside is the best defense) or the top of Mt. Chiliad.

 

 

The Bounty-Mobile. 3 AP pistols and a sticky-bomb happy driver make this thing a rolling death-machine.

Nobody's even trying, they just drive up to the building wondering where I am, can't see me and then leave assuming I've glitched into the building.
