We don't need more rifles.

The only gun I really care about is in game, it's infuriating that I can't have it but I digress. With the Desert Eagle out of the way the only other gun I would want added is the USP Match.

That said, I'd quite like a high powered semi-auto rifle - something like an FN-FAL - in the game just for variety. A DMR without the high powered scope.

But...the problem is they make it accessible to everyone.

 

Why would a rank 3 need to ever bother with the Pistol's or SMG's if the game gives him access to, statistically speaking, the best Assault Rifle & Single Shot-Pistol immediately?
The special Carbine should've been the Rank 110 unlock, since it has the Carbine's accuracy and the Advanced Rifle's damage.

 

Either lock those weapons to a certain Rank or scrap the SMG's entirely...or give them some value the Assault rifles don't have. Give them a higher fire rate or an add-on that give them better range or something.

it's one thing to give the low levels a fighting chance (even though I and many day 1 players had to endure facing SMG's against our combat pistols), it's another to screw a portion of the arsenal over by giving them over-powered weapons.

I forgot RAGE is a bitch at handling model dismemberment. It would render the Katana/Chainsaw obsolete indeed.

7 Melee
5 Handguns (not including Stun Gun)
6 Machine Guns (4 Sub, 2 Light)
3 Shotguns
4 Assault Rifles
3 Heavy Weapons

 

So what's the problem with getting a new rifle? Your poll makes it sound like we have way more assault rifles than other weapons which is clearly not the case.

I always say we need dual wielding haha but I realize I might be semi alone on that one. That and a new pistol that's worth using over the AP pistol. I use the heavy pistol too but that's mostly because I'm a fan of the 1911 in real life. The heavy pistol has good power per shot but It doesn't beat the AP's sheer rate of fire in my opinion.

i agree. at shooting skill 100, we should be able to dual-wield one handed weapons and be able to fire assault rifles out of car windows. and at 100 stamina our max speed should increase, etc. dont know why rockstar cant utilize the skills for extreme fun.

You know, I would vote for a level, bolt, semi automatic rifle that fits the redneck theme, but honestly all my wants go to a double barrelled shotgun.

I'd like to see a new heavy gun, SMG gun, Shotgun,Melee weapon, The Cuban Bomber & anything that will take a tank out of commision

 

They already have a bomber coded into the game itself in Story Mode the Cuban that Trevor flies to the drop zone and then drops a bomb i think that's be an awesome weapon to have it'd be a great anti-tank weapon.
