"All this plus the new Mental State player statistic, which is designed to let you see just how passive or psychotically unhinged fellow players in your session really are"

Sounds pretty awesome maybe no more getting shot for no reason anymore!

Sounds promising. I've just been reading about it on the Social Club newswire. The Highlife update is what caught my eye!

I agree, @daisymollie. Little kids with rockets cars (if they are) which they couldn't drive to save their lives... To be completely honest, I see nothing special about sports cars, they are just another type of vehicle to suit the players liking. Don't get me wrong, I like them, but would prefer to drive my Gauntlet rather than the Zentorno.

I'll probably just gonna buy them all (if i can afford) and not gonna touch them, maybe when i join missions... Who knows, the car looks like beasts, would look nice sitting in my garage

Finally a player I can relate to. My garage is mostly muscle and trust me there is nothing more satisfing in rolling in a awesome picador (thats right.) Or my great sabre. (No turbo cause it dosent have it nor need it. turbo on muscle cars is overkill.) Or even my phoenix! I do like the sound of the mental state though, shows you who is a tank noob or dick and those who might be a decent challenge and not run away to get a tank. Super cars are simply not attractive to me just cause they cost too much, everyone has one and too many a screaming mic kid is crashing their adder everywhere! However this said i loved the clothes in the buisness update so maybe high life might be good too! Oh and the idea of 2 garages is great! The idea that one is your home attached to your home and is full of 'family' cars and a garage down bythe airport which you sneak off to at night and has all your prized muscle cars in!

I'm really hoping for a fix for the Merryweather Canis Mesa, allowing players to store it in a garage. Actually, I sent Rcokstar an email last night about it. The Bravado Gauntlet will always be in my garage, considering it was my first car on GTA Online, but I am close to being able to obtain an insurable Merryweather Mesa, which will suit my characters military-like style.

@REXX93 I used to run a crew that was military based until we evolved to be bikers and now we are bikers/muscle enthusiasts! But yeah the Mesa was our main vehicle and it is 100% obtainable I know this cause I had one. Even to prove it there are pictures of it and my crew in my snapmatic!

You do know that this is just basically going to be based on kills in free roam, players that always kill, players that don't often and neutral.

It's not possible for the game to know why you have killed, it'll just be a free roam kill counter pretty much, useful if you want to meet more friendly players but it won't show you things like who is a tank griefer.

Hopefully it will help to show who you can approach or not - sometimes you want to be friendly but you never know, which means you can't be friendly at all, which means no one is friendly to approach.

Isn't everyone in GTA 5 lobbies already unhinged? That's the assumption I carry, considering everyone shoots first, as do I. I'm guessing it will be something like, "How homicidal are you feeling today?" Very. lol

Since when? I've had the Merryweather Jeep so many times. I've gotten bored of it, not that fast and it likes to roll. With every new update they take something out that's actually fun. Rockstar is the new fun police. I don't mean glitches, but stuff like the Jeep, stacking props in content creator, and where is the freaking skateboard??????? 4-5 skateparks but no skateboard? I'm trying to grind some funboxes!

I was actually very excited when I got mine but it turned a little "meh" after a while. Speed was eh, and rolling around with it in Freemode means death. It's very open with hardly any cover at all lol. I got mine in camo-green and it looks pretty bad ass when you put camo outfit on your character.

When you got your Mesa did you just directly drive it in your garage? It won't allow you that. What I did before was, I got it from the gang attack near Fort Zancudo and I had 1 empty space in my garage. Drove it to LS customs and put insurance on it and everything. Even though I had the insurance it didn't let me drive it in to the garage, so I had to drive a couple of blocks away and call my mechanic if I wanted to change my ride.

I haven't checked if it still works, but if it doesn't then poo :barf: ..

I don't inderstand 'Mental State' stats quiet yet. But it sounds similar to the 'dangerous' meter in you character stats.

I think it will be like a rating starting at slightly deranged going up all the way full blown psychopath.

because we all know no1 acts like a sane person in gta

I think both of those guys are f*ckin ugly. Look at the Pegassi dude... it looks like a damned Hot Wheel.... seriously? It doesn't look like a car that'd ever realistically be produced. And from the front, the Zentorno just looks like a Carbonizarre on steroids. Tooooo much IMO.

I am interested to see what the other vehicle is gunna look like.

Some people really love to avoid conflict, and go about specific matters of business in freeroam. ie-clothes shopping, gun buying, store-robbing... I definitely think quite a few passive-attitude players are out there.

What's this hate for super cars? I'm genuinely curious.

I appreciate supers aren't the be all and end all (I like my sports and muscle), but I like supercars as well and will be getting the Zentornno. In any case all cars can be driven well and supers are by and large the best for covering the map (sports aren't far off). It is largely the driver not knowing how to drive that causes crashes

It's mostly due to some of the supers looking like turds on wheels.

@Shaenno I haven't actually obtained the Merryweather Mesa yet. I'm still waiting for the Zancudo Gang Attack to appear or texting a random player over rank 35 and hope he/she is nice enough to send a Mesa to me. As for its physics, I know it's not the best off-roader and it handles no as good as others, but all said, it will still get me from A to B. I don't really speed around the map, so I should be just fine. I took it for a little spin around the airport during the "A Titan Of A Job" mission and I loved it, honest opinion. Now all I have to do is get my hands on one!
