A GTA Online miracle - An entire lobby working together

Almost. 13 of us, anyway. All total strangers to each other.

This should probably go in GTA Stories, but I found it way too incredible. All of us had mics, except one, and none of us were friends prior to meeting in that lobby.

About 8 of us met up by trying to get on the train together. We managed to make more allies at the airport, where most of us got Mallards and took off in perfect formation.

Later, all f'cking 13 of us got mountain bikes and rode all the way from the city to the top of Mt. Chilliad, and raced down the other side.

We went on to do races and deathmatches together.

It's rare as hell to meet just one other friendly player, let alone 13 random people willing to work together just to have fun. I've never seen such cooperation in a lobby before.

There's like 20 threads a day bitching about people being mean to each other on GTA Online, so I thought this was definitely worth sharing.

I'm that kind of guy that tries to be as friendly and as hilarious as possible.

but then people keep auto shotgunning me up close and pistol whipping me. I still keep trying to make alliances with them, but nope. They keep shotgunning me and trying to blow up my darn PV.

If we all converted to Islam, this would happen more often.

It seems if you don't shoot everyone you see on sight in this game then you're a some kind of weirdo...I hope one day they'll get passive mode working properly so that there's more random co-operation in free roam like in your story.

it'd be cool to have peacefull lobbies as an option to join.

This is too sweet. The majority of lobbies I join are home to obnoxious killers and kids who deem it necessary to scream into their mics.

To be honest, trolling and spawn killing gets boring, and there's been so much of that, as well as so much grinding, it gets boring. Working together is almost a new gameplay option, but that option was always there. We were just too busy killing each other to bother with it.

Good for you, OP. I for one get a occasional visitor in my freeroam, never more than 2.

It has gotten to the point where I just start a friend/crew only session so i can get some things done, then go to free roam if I feel like it.

That is seriously pretty awesome. It is rare to find lobbies like that, i should know. I have a video series of saluting people, trying to find friendlies, and i found very few (less then 20 out of over 100 people) I did however, meet these 3 dudes who were messing with me as i saluted, but did not shoot or act hostile in any way. I ended up joining their party and we spent the next 6 hours causing havoc. I still game with them a few times a week. :D

This wasn't even all of us. Some people were still trying to lose the cops and hiding in that gated houses' yard. I'm the one in the very back with the brown hoodie.
