Apartments in Paleto Bay and Sandy Shores

Wouldn't it be nice if there would be apartments in Paleto Bay and Sandy Shores? And maybe instead of apartments why not add mansions, small houses or trailers?

What do you think?

Still hoping for some sort of DLC that allows property (safe house) purchases in both SP and MP.

A lot of people freaked out when GTA 5 came out thinking that there was not going to be any, but honestly with the new "update system" it seems like its a good way for them to keep people playing for longer

In reality they could have released the game like it is currently with all the weapons, vehicles, etc added on. However, it's a good way to maintain interest for years and keep people coming back

More thank likely we should see safe house purchases, but guaranteed they were will spread out (e.g. 1-3 available in LS in the beginning, then a few more in LS, then maybe a few in Sandy shores, then Paleto, then mansions becoming available) will probably be a while til all are released

If I had a choice though, Id love to see some houses in Paleto for sure, but also at least 1-4, crummy safe houses in Blaine Co. that Trevor can purchase. Also, hopefully they'll make it "real time" properties in which you can look out the windows and see the world still going on (like in the GTA ONline safe houses, not like in Michaels in SP)

the option to buy safe houses was left out because they were all smoking crack that day.

I hope so. I hate the city. I'd much rather be a country boy, even though I hate everything redneck.

In my opinion if a SP DLC comes and has property to buy(garages, houses) it should NOT be in the city. Yeah maybe the garages will be a little difficult to do in the countryside but the houses are no problem. Especially in Paleto Bay near the forrest or near the sea. The desert is Trevor Phillips country, cant imagine Michael and Franklin having a house there.

Yeah, I liked that savehouse in a countryside hill in GTA SA, sometimes I was even wearing the farmer outfit there. I would love to have a house outside the city, I just got bored of it, it's a long way to get on the places I like (Raton Canyon, Mt Chiliad and it's sorroundings).

They should just put two trailers for Mike and Frank to buy in Sandy Shores and two houses in Paleto Bay, maybe one more in Grapeseed or a trailer in the woods.

I was thinking more in the line of little shed or cottage in the woods. Halfway throught the map to have a closer house to other things like you said.

I wanna buy and move in to the deserted Altruist Camp.

Fantastic views, plenty of car parking and hikers can be invited in for dinner!

I always have the feeling that only one third of the map is really used. I mean, sometimes i go to Sandy Shores, but you can rarely find me in Paleto Bay even though I love it there!

I wouldn't expect to find very many "high-end apartments" in Blaine County. Any apartment in BC would be a nice addition though.

I agree, it's like it should be there in the first place

Some properties up north would be nice. I still like my idea of owning a depot where you can store trucks, busses etc

I hope so, because I would definitely live up there instead of the city life.

There's a pair of two car garages up in Paleto Bay, and there's some down in Grapeseed and Sandy Shores. Not sure if they're two or six car units.

You don't really need an apartment, as it does nothing other than allow you to change your clothes. For Paleto Bay, there's a clothing store down the street. Drive to it.

That said, don't move to PB. I don't want idiots to take over my quiet seaside town. :)

You may need one for heists, so let's not go telling people to bail on them just yet.

You may. Good thing I have other crew members who haven't ditched everything in an attempt to move to the boonies.

I kinda dont believe that Rockstar would force upon anyone the need to own an apartment in order to do heists. I know its speculation that apartments are needed, but i dont think its something thatll actually happen. But rockstar does like to surprise us haha so nothing is out of the realm of possibility right now

As for OP, yes... Yes i would like to have somewhere to stay in Paleto Bay, on the coast over looking that vast empty waste of blue stuff lol

I do. At one point, Lester tells you as much.

Its not like point of entry is hard for an apartment, the lowest one is priced at 205K.
