Creed Bratton
What kind of fan would I be if I didn't make a topic about Scarlett Johansson's latest upcoming movie? It looks like it will be a very fun action movie. I'm not a fan of the concept, so as far as the story goes I'm not really sure that I care. I didn't like Limitless for the same reason. But Limitless didn't have Scarlett Johansson kicking ass with guns and superpowers, Morgan Freeman and the director of Leon The Professional. So yeah, I'm pretty stoked for this. Brobinski
I was really enjoying the trailer until the whole '10% of our brain' thing. Then I remembered I initially wrote off Limitless for the same reason, and in the end it turned out okay. Then I watched the rest of the trailer and thoroughly enjoyed it again. I also lover how ScarJo is fast on the road to being the new queen of sci-fi (Her, Under the Skin, this and the Marvel movies if you count that as sci-fi). I definitely didn't see this coming but I'm more than okay with it. E: Wait, sh*t. Luc Besson is directing? F*cking sold. Zepren
I like things like this which are totally crazy but, for all we know, could be true (most likely not though).

Indy007
At first when I saw the close up of her eye turning into a slit, I thought this was going to be a remake of Species. Edited May 29, 2014 by Indy007
Abel.
Looks like great fun and includes one of my favourite actresses and the director of my all time favourite film, but the premise seems silly. That's not the worst thing though--what they do with it is what matters, as Vanja/Yokel suggests. Mister Pink
Certainly looks fun. I think the using her whole brain and have the capabilities to make the bullets from from that dudes cartridge is stepping over the line... suspension of disbelief and all that aside I think I could enjoy this. I just hope some of her abilities are explained in a clever or intelligent manner so it's somewhat believable. What turned me off about Sci-Fi in the beginning was my inability to be sucked in and enjoy as I was always questioning "how..?" and "why..?" Hopefully they don't go too over-the-top and just give her character free reign to do anything she wants. There has to be limitations and flaws. It will be interesting to see if the film has a message or theme that can be linked to morals of the real world, possibly something in which society is struggling with, morally, today. I've enjoyed some of Bessons previous work. Hope this is good. SPACELAB (1978) - KRAFTWERK
darthYENIK
I love average people getting super powers. ScarJo was great in The Winter Soldier, kicking tons of ass, I hope this combines those two things, and comes out great. Mister Pink

Creed Bratton
The reviews are in. Some people aren't too happy with the cheese, but I found MovieBob's review on The Escapist very informative. I tend to trust his reviews. And even when I don't it turns out that he's right. http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/escape-to-the-movies/9583-Lucy-Its-Almost-a-Black-Widow-Movie?utm_source=latest&utm_medium=index_carousel&utm_campaign=all milkmansun

Mr. Scratch
I'm gonna see it this Saturday, it looks pretty good so far. But the whole "humans use 10% of their brain" thing makes me cringe.
Girish
Watched this today. I found the movie to be lacking though. It seemed as if the story had so much potential and they could have done so much with it but it turns out to be mediocre. There's also not as much action as I'd have liked. When I read a review that stated this is essentially a Black Widow movie, I was pumped. But that excitement fizzled out midway through the second half. Worth a watch still, especially since there's nothing better right now.

zuckmeslow
i thought the first half of this movie was amazing. choi min-sik was great. but the ending was not as good as it could have been. i feel like they shouldnt have spent all that money on the time travel scene and the cgi earth and dinosaurs.the movie was building up the 100% brain power level the entire time. i couldnt wait until she went to 100%.unfortunately it all just goes flaccid and. as you know if you have seen the movie, she turns into a flashdrive. instead of spending all the money on the cgi earth and dinosaur, and the time travel sequence, and the usb flashdrive animation. i would have spent it on an ending that would have left the viewer pumped. my ending would have been when she reached to 100% she should have turned into an immortal being. having every superpower. when choi min-sik's character walks through the door to shoot her, she completely deflects the bullet (not even stopping it, just flat out deflecting it) and then grabs him. he disappears and all the professors and morgan freeman are just there staring at her, they exchange a talk and whatever, but then just before the movie ends, it shows choi min-sik's character appear in a strange land covered in trees, he is still holding the gun and is now extremely confused as to what happened. he hears a growl and turns around only to get eaten by a dinosaur. end of movie
