So, still rumors.

Casino says OPENING SOON, and there's casino sound files in the game.

 

And yeah agreed I'd much rather casinos, but the heists are obviously gonna need to come first before they bring out casinos.

Very rarely we'll actually release some vague information eluding to some unknown time in the future, soon, regarding actual new content you do care about. This new content will however not be what you're really looking for and the features we promised at release will continue to be released sometime soon.

Was there not? i wonder why there was audio files of Lester saying there is a casino just opened and also it says opening soon on the casino. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Not by a long shot. The voice actors are exactly the same, and completely in character.

 

I'm gonna say this: there's been no real promise for a Casino/Gambling update, so it's best not to speculate as if it's 100% legit, unless of course we hear about it as the High Life Update, then that would be interesting.

 

However, there's a huge potential of it happening, but that's not concrete evidence of it being released as the audio files and code could easily be scrapped as a feature they don't feel needs focus or isn't drawing enough demand. Just sayin'

Rockstar have never mentioned the Casino opening. I think at most it'll feature in a mission or a heist but I can't see it opening in free-roam.

Lol we're 6 months into the game and still waiting on things that were in the trailer for the game before release. I like the stuff that is coming but R* really needs to be more transparent on what it has planned for future updates with a loose timeline of expected release. People are going to loose interest in the game without clear information on what to expect. You can already see this happening as a lot of people that were in game at release are barely playing now or not playing at all.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it.Well that's conclusive then. Especially since Lester is in no way involved with single player, heists, assassination missions or anything else. It can ONLY mean a usable casino.

 

Don't get me wrong, I want poker in this game and a casino is a way it could happen. Just, audio files prove nothing.

Perhaps the heists update will add a lot of additional content, maybe casinos will be added along with the heist update.
