So, I've been trying to figure out what this one movie is for quite a while, strictly from one scene. I believe it was a horror/comedy type film, likely from the 80's, and the scene I remember is some dork putting his red Chuck Taylors in the microwave to heat up his odor eaters, but when he outs the sneaks on, he gets eaten by the odor eaters in bloody spectacular 80's style. The sneaks then proceed to grow into a gross but cheesy monster that looks like a pile of sh*t shaped like a trashcan. Any ideas? Basically there's a code that's recieved that relays instructions to build a machine. They build this machine and it's a sphere with a pod at the top. The pod is dropped through the the center of the sphere and it transfered the occupant through a wormhole and onto a strange alien beach he or she spent a little while there and came back and in the real world people didn't believe where they went as it appeared the pod just dropped strait down after launch. Further, a second movie were some alien mimics people and i think there is some showdown at a school were they take on a giant alien. Also if i am not mistaken those aliens got killed by coke or some other drugs...not sure which drugs anymore...but i indeed think its coke or heroin. No...it was a much older movie.And ppl went thirsty...not crazy. And i think it had a good ending. It was pretty new I think and I only seen two episodes, New York and San Francisco. The series focused on different facets of life and infrastructure over the years to make it what it is today. It was really good quality with lots of aerial photography etc. It wasn't cheesy like a NatGeo or History channel doc either. Seemed like it had a decent budget behind it. EDIT: Found it. The focus is on food but the city is very much included.. it's also a little cheesy but great. The Rome episode is on YouTube.. But there's this movie that shows a person sitting on back seat inside a car that is currently moving, I guess it was a VW Beetle the old one(not sure) cocking a Revolver and insert it into their mouth and pull the trigger. It shows the wideshot of the vehicle with the blood spread on the back window That's all I remember. They were driving on like a desert road, but might also be wrong. I think the latter was on a mission to look for his mom. All I remember is: -The babysitter getting his ass kicked by a trucker(?) because the MC man kept honking at the latter. -Him abandoning the guy in the rain, only to return to pick him up. -A little girl writing 14(the day of her birthday) on the palm of the MC man's hand. -And I think the ending involved fireworks, and the guy finally finding his mother. Anyone know? I'm also still waiting for an answer for this. OT: I'm looking for a horror movie where it shows a woman combing her hair while roses are red, violets are blue is sung by a creepy female voice in the background. I thought it's Full Metal Jacket but I can't find a reference to that quote in this movie. In fact I can't find any reference to such a quote anywhere.
