This has been wanted since before zombies were blown out of proportion. At the first sight of GTA IV's new free mode lobby it was obvious how bad ass it would be to have zombies.

 

It was obviously a successful idea with RDR's Zombie DLC. Now we merely wait for it to come to GTA.

I think a Zombie game is relatively easy for a developer to do. That's why its overdone. And it sells, so publishers back it

Rockstar have some sort of formula down with RDR with zombies, so don't be surprised if come October 31st you get zombie dlc.

 

Having said that I would like to see a vampire theme for Halloween. Dusk till Dawn comes to mind.

I mean seriously.. If GTA can have auto aim, ghost racing and tanks being spawned non stop im sure a couple mini games with zombies won't hurt anyone. Id love to see that added near Halloween

You're moving from gameplay pieces (auto aim) to completely over running parts of the map and changing a major portion of the game completely.. HUGE difference, not even sure how you managed to compare the two.

 

Remember that Online allegedly takes place about 6 months before SP, so to have a zombie apocalypse then have everything be fine is terrible from a linear timeline point of view.

Not much of a debate here, I think we are at a concensus. Sure zombie survival why not. I saw someone post a video of an alien in the game and it was pretty funny.
