The Online Gamer
I saw pics of my dads ford f-150 Eddie Bauer edition and it was the sh*t. He sadly swapped paint with a rock wall one night, and tore it up...
Pavle
Didn't the Yugo have back window heaters so you didn't catch cold while pushing it? Funny, I thought the trabant had that I know I have a picture of my grandfather fixing the Yugo somewhere. But, it was a nice car until it started breaking down a lot. M22
Wow so many nice cars and memories, just looking at photos of my family cars. Being an Aussie kid, strangely i didn't have muscle cars haha, thougt i would do all of my closest family cars that we did/still have, one remember was my grandmothers Honda Civic GL 1991 P.S Sorry for large photos she has had this for 21 years until our 2010 Mercedes Benz B180 the second car my grandparents have our trusty older 1998 Subaru Forester GX like this moving over to my aunt and uncle their first car i can remember was a beautiful maroon 1995 BMW 535I with the light beige leather seats, literally one of the nicest cars ever. like this then in late 2002 early 2003 my uncle bought a a BMW 530I M Sport exact like this and a Mercedes C200 Kompressor for my aunt, these cars have been great to us over the years and as a 11 yr old especially the W203 series, it purs every morning when they need it. exact one one of my cousins had a 1994 BMW 318I as her first car and my other cousin, he had a 1989 Holden Calais then she moved onto a 2004 BMW 330CI M sport and he moved onto a 2004 Holden Berlina like this and this and now she has an X3 and he still has his Berlina from when i was about 2-3, my mum and dad had a Daihatsu Applause, i wasn't applauding it, that's for sure. like this then when they broke up when i was 5, my mum got the Charade another terrible car, she bogged it twice and once it got stolen haha. and now she owns a 1989 Ford laser GHIA Zampati like this and a 2000 Mitsubishi lancer GLXI like this My dad has had his 95 Camry CSX since the break up, i think he is upgrading to a merc c class soon. exactly like this. That is all i can remember from my childhood, most real photos are not available at the moment. jpm1, Sean O'God, Pavle and 1 other

Ninja_Gear
BMW 3 series. Looked just like this: First and last time i got involved in a car accident with my brother was in this car. Survived by pure luck and had back pains for over a year. Got crushed because the car in front of me crashed into a car riding half way on the wrong side of the road. My brother and i crashed into the car as well, then some big ass SUV comes crashing in the back without braking. So.. yeah i won't forget this car ever. The car was completely destroyed. Mate same thing happened with my Aunt and Uncles BMW 535I, like he one pictured above in my family cars story, she was at a traffic light at the bottom of a hill and a woman in a 2006 Kia Sorrento hit the back of the BMW which then hit a bull bar on the back of a Tarago therefore crushing the motor and a few other things, which basically made it not drive able, my Aunt was so pissed, she nearly slapped the sh*t out of the woman who hit her. ByePolar
During my early to late teens a lot of muscle cars was being driven by my family, friends and school mates. My brother-in-law owned a 1965 GTO much like this one but his was black. A guy I went to HS with owned a 1970 AMC Javelin. A guy I knew that owned a local construction company owned a black 1965 Convertible Shelby Mustang with a roll bar. He sold it on Ebay to some guy in California. jpm1 and Sean O'God

ctan800
1999 Chrysler Concorde. When I was like, a 8 year old, I thought that both that and the Dodge Intrepid were the sh*t. I used to own a Concorde LXi, I realized that the piece of sh*t couldn't even last 120,000 miles (I bought it at 96,000), it has a engine design flaw where the coolant hose, a plastic and rubber doowacky, was run UNDERNEATH THE INTAKE BETWEEN THE CYLINDER HEADS. It practically killed itself before time was due. Didn't know about this design flaw (based on a 3.2L Mitsubishi V6), and blew the cylinder head gaskets on the first day that it overheated. 2006 Pontiac GTO. It was during the "revival" of the "muscle car era", back then you had a choice between a 250-275 horsepower Ford Mustang, a 350 horsepower Dodge Charger (actually a sedan, not muscle), and this, a 400 horsepower Pontiac GTO! Same LS1/LS2 motor as the one in the 400 horse Corvette. Comes with either a 6-six manual with a faux short shifter, or a 4-speed automatic. Has the muscle car era really came back? Not really, tightened emission standards are slowing its reintroduction. We have a new Camaro, Challenger, Mustang, but what happened to our Chrysler Valiant Imperial (Green Hornet & Kato's car). But then GM murdered the Pontiac badge during the recession. Edited July 10, 2014 by ctan800
RoadRunner71
It's sad to see Pontiac gone, wish that GM had kept it alive (maybe instead of Buick?) and improved it’s quality. ARC8_1982 and epoxi

79'Blazer4x4
Most notable one I can think of is my grandma's old Ford Ranger(89-92, don't know the specific year). I believe it was a single cab since I remember riding in the fold down middle seat all the time. It was silver with a really 70's-esque multicoloured stripe decal job all down the sides. It ended up being given to my uncle and he hit a deer with it. After that it sat in the pasture for about a year before it got hauled away to be scrapped. My mom's first car, a white Ford Tempo, also suffered the fate of hitting a deer. Come to think of it a lot of vehicles belonging to my mom and grandparents' over the years got given to my uncle and destroyed in accidents when he was driving. Danikov
Remember how all stores had this as their delivery van back then... ^These were pretty plentiful at the time here in Israel. A car that I remembered seeing quite commonly in my childhood is a car from the same company as this one,the Citroen model BX. This car has an unforgettable and distinctive design, and was fairly common here at the time as I already stated...I believe that the car nowdays is nearly extinct from the roads of Israel as it is unreliable and requires further maintanence in order to keep it roadworthy. Here are some photos of this car in Israel, registered with a license plate that I even myself did not know about : https://www.flickr.com/photos/roomush/8210223539/in/photostream/ . Another car that comes up in my memory,is the late 80s-early 90s Ford Sierra, another car that was reasonably common here and nowdays very few remain roadworthy. Flachbau
Yeah, I'm fairly young, so don't flame. Although, my dad used to work at a pretty large company, so when his work vehicle was being serviced, he would borrow this. Amazing car. Fast. Stylish.
