only "fairness" it effects would be that some people don't have the singleplayer vehicles and don't know how to get them

 

gameplay-wise, i'd say there's nothing gamebreaking about it.

No one knows if R* will patch it (again). So best advice is to make use of it while you can.

By now you can be assured Rockstar knows about it, and you can be 100% sure they are working on a way to stop it because even though you don't see it as a 'bad' glitch, people use it to gain money, something Rockstar frowns upon.

I cant my 2 online garages are full that's the point of storing them in SP. If I cant glitch them back then it's $300k a car to mod them again.

 

Maybe they'll wait for heists to close the portal, all I need is an hour!!

in all honesty, they need to just make the singleplayer vehicles available for purchase online, or to be stolen off the streets

 

people will complain that it'd make these vehicles less "rare", but they're idiots, as anyone can get them - they aren't rare if you don't have to look for them

 

go for a car you legitimately think looks nice, not something that you can flaunt around just to be a hipster.

if they do or if they don't, who knows? i could see them doing away with it though, but if anything was to be done i would figure they will just remove any sp vehicles from peoples garages. only those selling them might be thrown into the cheaters pool IMO.

 

1. glitching a car for no cost in sp then to sell for 100% profit online = exploiting/cheating plain and simple.

 

2. glitching to get that SP car that is not available online, whos to say they haven't already planned on releasing it in a DLC or extra story (like TLAD or TBOGT)?

 

really though anyone who does SP-MP glitch is exploiting a part of the game that is not suppoed to be there, so in that sense you are cheating whether you accept it or not.

Now sure, anyone can do it, but generally speaking it requires a level of intelligence somewhere above Trained Chimp, rendering it outside the scope of 9/10ths of the GTAO player base...

Except that I already owned and paid for mods on all of these. They were replaced by new vehicles because I was out of space.

Why should you get to SP2MP 'em back in, exactly? You've enjoyed ownership and come to terms with moving on to something new, you got your use, amirite?

 

Regardless of your reasoning, SP2MP is cheating through glitching. And yes, I've done it, and yes, I'm OK with admitting that its basically full bore cheating. It may not be as brazen as guys with 47 million dollars through duplication and selling, but none the less, its really not that much different.

 

The only downside is I never did figure out how to get a no-side Kalihari into my garage. C'est la vie, etc.

I also hope the car dupe glitch where someone destroys your car and you immediately leave the session and they have an untracked version of the car still works after the update as i have a few cars i put in my second character's garage that i want to bring over to put in the new garage.

I would guess that the non lag switch way will eventually be patched. However, the lag switch method, I'm not sure If they would be able to fix that method completely. Recently, someone brought that up, because a lag switch has do with your connection and such, slowing it down, etc. Figuring that R* just makes It where the Xbox game store just launches straight into the store without the zoom out of the screen, that's where the lag switch would come in. I might be totally wrong.

Thats not an exploit tho. Thats just common sense used to avoid bullsh*t insurance. If it was an exploit it would not be so simple to do playing legit. Theres no tricks here..no glitching.. no modding no hacking. Its using the bank as intended.

 

I've blown up maybe 50-60 PV in 6 months, theres a reason i've never been to bad sport.. I told you so many times that I don't go out of my way to grief people.. They ask for it.

It is an exploit, because Rockstar didn't intend c*nts like you to utilise the bank in that manner.

 

And I already told you that I only bring this up whenever you have a go at people who are doing stuff that doesn't really affect anyone else.

Keep in mind, the lagswitch method will most likely always stay working. The storing supercar glitch however will most likely be patched asap. So that leaves you to lagswitch sp to mp glitch in only low budget vehicles.

A little bit of logic goes a long way. Why bother adding in insurance if you intended people to be able to get around paying for it outside of bounties?

If i were you i will be glitching some money, by selling cars using the rebel method and save up some millions so when the new update comes out you will be able to buy everything and anything. You can get 8 million $ in an hour (less or more).

I've proved it a ton of times in TOPICS actually related to this.. You just can't read or just refuse to accept it.

That's from the 1.11 notes. Of course, it didn't work for public games, but considering they tried to fix it before they'll probably try again.
