Buzzard, worth it?

So I have managed to finally save up enough money to buy a Buzzard (a pretty long term goal I had in mind) but I am now having seconds thoughts on getting one. It's a lot of money for me so I do have some reservations about it especially with another DLC around the corner that is bound to add new shiny stuff that costs a lot of money.

 

For those that do have one would you say from your experience so far it's worth it? Especially from a mission perspective as I have no desire to grief people in free-roam with it. Do you use your one enough to justify the cost?

Honestly? Yes.

 

The buzzard will make a selection of missions an absolute walk in the park, and if you're going to have any helicopter on demand, that should be your first choice.

Totally worth it for missions. I use mine all the time (both characters have one) - speeds up mission time and loads of fun. Love my buzzards. They're expensive but they'll help you get the money back fast. Do it!

The buzzard is very handy for a lot of missions, and it's very convenient to be able to call one any time you would like, but it is not necessary and it does not exactly pay for itself quickly. I bought one with money I had grinded out and I don't regret it, but I understand why you have reservations. Unless the new DLC has limited time purchasable content, and I doubt that, I see no reason not to buy the buzzard. It will be a lot faster to earn the several hundred thousand (or however much) the new cars are going to cost with a buzzard.

Buzzard is the best purchase I ever made. I only wish I had a private helicopter pad on my safe house. Dont think id ever drive

Happy Buzzard owner here: absolutely worth it in missions. Just mind the distance, as the chopper is lightly armored - you sit on silver plate. You can switch the targets with shoulder buttons.

I totally agree with all of the positives that people have posted about in this topic, myself being a Buzzard owner.

 

I doubt there would be any buyer's remorse and we don't know what's around the corner as far as new Vehicles that might be available.

 

On another note, since I got my Buzzard, I haven't paid any attention to the availability of "Free" Buzzard's, but do see quite a few comments about people saying they are available here and there quickly (in and out of missions).

Buy the buzzard and start saving for new cars and sh*t. The buzzard is the best and worst thing that has happened to me. Getting good at blowing players up with buzzard isn't good for keeping a dunce cap off your head that's for sure, but it's pretty fun at the same time..

for some missions,yes.

For getting kills in free mode it's great if you know how to fire rockets properly

Just so you're aware, although the Buzzard missiles do not lock onto other players in Free Roam, they DO lock onto enemies and enemy vehicles during missions - that's what makes completing the missions a breeze with the Buzzard.

If you had spare cash then I'd say yeah go for it, but I wouldn't spend my last few million on it.

Had some fun moment with the buzzard, loaded with 4 people, firering missles and shooting with lmg's from the side. Epic chases and air battles, I would'nt want to miss that =]

Was with some friends discussing it, one of them asked the same, if it was worth it.

 

Well, if you intend to use it and have fun with it then sure, absolutely. I like to fly and I enjoy doing Missions.

 

Buzzard = Base Invaders, Extradition, Judging The Jury all become super easy to beat.

My secondary character doesn't have a tank... but he has a Buzzard! Never regretted the purchase.

 

Once you can doing Judging the Jury solo, there is not question about how effective it is. Not to mention it can virtually be used in any situation except for races and LTS.
