The cops need an option to be turned off and weather options needed.

Whenever a big lobby is full of cops to around 50-70 cops chasing the whole city and raining. it really reduces the frame rate badly causing my aim to slow down or when i scope. thats even worse..

 

i would love to see an option to turn off the cops while others can have it on in other lobbies and having the ability to change the weather as well. mostly a customized lobby from GTA IV.

Good idea! Everyone send email to [email protected] to bring back the customized lobbies and customized lobby search from GTA IV into GTA Online with better customized tools. this is a must!

Should be an option from the start. Whenever I'm playing with friends, and we're all just messing around, the cops always come and ruin it. So I'm forced to let them kill me, so that I'm not being harassed while I'm playing around in free roam. I don't care if they disable the priority vehicles or any other crime that makes money involving the polive. JUST LET ME HAVE FUN WITHOUT THE COPS RUINING IT PLZZZ!

Apparently they're also there to shoot anything that doesn't shoot anything at all as well.

I cannot count the amount of times that I have gotten the cops on me for doing nothing but spawning after getting killed by them. Just happened to me 20 minutes ago, actually, which is why I mention it.

Did you know, that if you're not moving, but facing the direction of a cop, so long as you're within 20 feet or so, that you will get a wanted level on you? For what? I don't know, but it is an annoyance more than anything.

 

I do not want to be forced into a competitive mode to have fun with the freedom that GTA is supposed to provide. It should simply be an option in the settings, especially when you make private/invite only sessions.

Agreed. I have already sent about 15 emails suggesting to fix cops. For one thing the cops make stealth a completely useless skill.

Giving the players more power is just wrong because its a proven fact that the majority of players have bad taste and play things as easy as possible.

 

 

Crew or friends who outnumber others in free roam games would be able to dictate what happens. Also players would just turn off cops so they can rob and kill everything without dealing with the cops, making cops pointless. Making the game dull...

If everyone voted for free roam in GTA4 in a free roam, it restarted so everyone got sent to the pre-game lobby where you could turn off cops, set the weapons, etc.

cops don't need turned off, if there is a frame rate issue then i could see reducing the number of cops, but not totally removed.

for you guys complaining about them getting into your little PvP's whether it's open, invite or solo lobbies, that's why they made DM/TDM. you can PvP or screw around all you want without the worry of cops/gangs/npcs/players barging into your fights. you want to PvP/screw around in free roam then you take the consequences that come with it.

 

now for the weather i'm not sure, can the weather be controlled with the content creator so people can make a mission or whatever with certain weather conditions? weather in free roam wouldn't work though unless it is completely turned off for everyone to keep the playing field level as can be, hence meaning no weather at all. that doesn't sound fun at all. it's a good dynamic in the game. maybe reduce the frequency of how often it rains, but not totally getting rid of it.

I thought this topic would of been of cops being a nuisance and that they should be removed.

 

Imo, i think they just need to be nerfed.

 

A couple days ago, I killed 2 hikers on top of a mountain wilderness with a silenced pistol. No one was around and all views were blocked by neighboring mountains...and i still got 1 star.

 

Back on topic, i didnt notice any framerate drop when cops are chasing others when it rains.
