I think it's time by now to let everyone know that rockstar has... Well, failed.

 

I remember the good days in gta 4 when you could have fun and not have to worry about your car, your money, your apartment, etc...

Now you're lucky to not get shot on a Sunday drive.

 

Rockstar has fallen to greed... As in money. As long as the cash keeps flowing in, they don't seem to care. Lost your car? Too bad. Someone hacking? Get over it they're just better than you.

 

For now, rockstar has butchered gta online to the point where you can't play with your crew members or friends due to the freezes, bugs, glitches, etc...

I'm sorry, ladies and gentlemen, but online is broken, and rock star hasn't been trying to fix it.

You see the problem is that I sold my copy of 4 to buy gta 5. Rock star has had me riding their bandwagon of cash cards long enough, and I'm done. An invite only session still has the freezes among other things. So, I implore you to join a session and look for deficiencies in the game. Please, hear me out. Rockstar is going downhill due to them thinking that since they're billionaires now, they are entitled to leave the game alone after making so much. If things don't change soon, things are only going to get worse.

Seriously though, its not that bad. You just need a friend or two to get you involved and out of the fray. Make a buddy and go driving, someone tries to kill one of ya, now its 2 on 1. Its only going to be what you make of it. If you are worried about things like apartments and clothes, then you will be dissapointed. Play some golf, tennis, arm wrestle, catch a movie, get a cheapo from a hooker or just kill random people and ai. Do some racing, parachuting, bike riding, sub driving....you getting the idea? There is a lot to do. Sunday drives are for invite only's and players who have no problem with gangsters shooting at them. It is what it is, take it or leave it.

"Everyone" doesn't think they failed. I, for one, enjoy the hell out of GTAO; and I had no intention of even playing the online part when I purchased the game. When I was ten, I bought one if those switchblade-style combs at a local fair for $5. It stopped springing open all the way after a few goes with it. Now THAT was disappointment...

Therefore you must be prepared to deal with the inevitable backlash. You only make a post like this if you're expecting, and are ready, to put up with negative feedback.

 

To speed this up a bit, I feel I should also say that chalking it up to 'bugs, glitches, freezing ect' is hardly sufficient while trying to make your point. We all put up with the aforementioned, but still enjoy the game plenty. So you'd need to explain yourself further if you expect modest feedback.

 

3rd of all, OP I suggest this. I was bored as all f*ck earlier today. No friends were really on, I had already survived a bounty in my tank, no particluar interest in missions/racing/car Modding. So I brought up the "quick job" option from the Phone.

 

 

"Join Random". Rinse & repeat. It helped snap my bordem. It forced me to just play.. rather than just sitting around wondering what I'd like to do. So try that out

When I say bugs and glitches, freezes, etc i mean that it is to a point of unbearability. Wanna chill with your friends? Nope, freeze. Your car get blown up? Too bad, all mmi operators are on calls right now. Sometimes, when you have spawn location set to random, you can spawn under the map, just falling, forcing you to possibly waste a parachute to fix it.

I'm glad I have single player, battlefield 4, AC 4, ghosts, my other 14 games... it's called cleaning your cache I have not had any freezes clear the cache and it's done if you don't want to get blown up play invite

R* did what other games didn't and that's free dlc if you ever played COD or BF you had to purchase all the dlc regardless of glitches and hackers, also if that's how you truly feel about gta5 play another game and take a break be lucky R* has customer support i doubt any other game out there has the same maybe some but i bet they charge per dlc

Are you stupid? I was very courteous and rather kind to you, considering the content of your topic. Your personal attack is not only uncalled for, but incredibly ignorant. You have no clue who you are talking to, but so readily demean. In fact I did not have to "work my ass off" to buy this game. In reality I spent an hour maybe, to earn what it cost to buy this game, a new headset and even got the Deluxe edition. That you had to "work your ass off", sounds like you work at a menial, hard labor, little pay endeavor, with no real chance of advancement that doesn't include an increase in output and hours.

 

Here is how you fix your current predicament. Take this as a free session. STOP playing video games. Go back to school and actually pay attention this time. When you have completed what ever grade you decided a game was more important than, go to college. Get yourself a couple of degrees, in something other than Art! and A. start a company or B. Work for someone else or C. (What I did long before video games) Both. Then you would have already worked your ass off (Like me) and would then have loads of time to pursue gaming, game designing, kids, house and all those other things that you could have if you worried less about a fake character and more bout the real one.

 

I do hope you aren't offended. You seem to screaming for an answer, hopefully mine is close to the one you obviously need.

Well think about it.. The game is huge, it has more buildings than gta iv, i think we all can agree on that one! And we can customize cars which we couldnt do in gta iv (or could we?) and i get pushed back to single player because ' timed out locating session' imagine how many people are playing this game.

But yeah the game is also not a great game either cuz off the lags, freezes and sh*t (so frustrating) and MMI buttf*cked us in this patch, they wont show the list off your destroyed vehicles (well mine dont show up)
