Not sure if true. I've found that choosing sell than backing out fixes the problem. Maybe just a visual bug.

Its a glitch. Don't repair it at LSC let your mechanic fix it.

It happened to me with a Tornado I upgraded with another character to give to my new character.

When I fixed it at LSC, it lost the performance upgrades that weren't unlocked yet with my new character.

Not sure about the amour though.

Yeah i didn't press fix it just to be sure, took it to my garage Also even 47 mil can't give you black headlights & a black windscreen. It might just have removed the mods i added in sp if i agreed to repair it.

If this does present itself though just scroll down to "Sell" and then back up to "Repair", it should correct itself if you're worried about any issue. Or simply back out of LSC and enter again.
