No one uses the regular Stinger?

In GTA Online, I've encountered a good amount of Stinger GTs, but I don't think I've ever seen anyone with the regular Stinger. The Stinger was the first car I purchased in SP, and I'm thinking of buying one for my second character in GTA Online since I don't do much racing nowadays. Sure, it won't win a race, but it looks sexy and I like being different from the rest of the pack.

 

Have you ever encountered the regular Stinger online? How popular is the regular Stinger?

I have the one with the top you have to be lucky to get the hardtop version..

I chose the GT for it's more flashy body. I'm having trouble driving it, though. I can't corner very well...

 

I've only ever seen one person driving any Stinger and that was only a couple days ago.

Never really see them and don't much care to own one myself. But if someone put an AP pistol to my head and forced me to, if probably get the GT, cause, well, it's a GT.

 

We know you have your own taste in cars OP so go get it, just please don't make it lime green and put an anime logo on the hood, OK?

I have yet to see a Stinger in free roam or in a race. I used to own a GT but I sold it because I rarely drove it.

I actually like it much more than I expected, since I bought it for my second character..! Kinda wanna get one for my primary character too!

I chose the regular Stinger over the GT. It just looks better.

Thanks for all the replies. i went ahead and bought the Stinger. I did it because I had too many sports cars, and my 9F Cabrio was just an impulse buy from the billionaire days.

I love my stinger, but i never drive it, i just rub it with a diaper (and do the occasional race)

 

 

 

I actually glitched this one in SP ->MP because i wanted to move it from one side of the garage to the other and because of the 50/50 chance of getting a soft top up version , i just bought it in SP knowing if i got the wrong one i'd just restore the game to the previous save point and buy it again. Ended up getting the open top on the first try in SP LOL. Once i got it into online and modded the plate using Charles proxy, i sold the original one and netted a cool $600k.

I use my stinger all of the time in free roam but never use it for races

I do use it occasionally but with the tank BS and them not paying for insurance i don't take it out in public lobbies because of the $10,625 insurance deductible.

I have the GT. Rarely take it out during free mode because of tanks. It's also a good racer. I'll probably buy the regular Stinger when we have a second garage.

I got a hard top stinger. It just not good to drive in public free roam.

 

Insurance is to high and its not bullet proof.
