grief after claiming a bounty?

The start: I received a couple NPC bounties during my time roaming around Los Santos & Blaine county looking for locations for crew meet ups or HQ's.

The chase: On two seperate occasions in the same session, I was pursued by two-man man hunting parties. I did in turn whoop their behinds +5 times for both players as defense before my own death/their reward.

The conclusion: After the parties got their "hard earned" bounties, both times, upon respawn I attempted to continue my search on the board but was griefed as I tried to flee. The ordeals lasted a good 15 minutes - 2 on 1 I mind you - for both encounters (about 8 minutes for bounty, 7 for shootouts afterwards).

In this instance, I understand they may have gotten a bit frustrated. But my question to the forums is when chasing bounties do you layoff after the kill or continue to hunt even if the player is on the run and why?

i grief when he kills me back (as in the player i killed is the one with the bounty on his head) as if "its only business" never crosses their minds and they take things personal and kill me well its on buddy you are doomed.

"It's only business" is exactly what I meant! thanks for that. It's the way I see it.

It's only business. I collect the bounty and move on. I enjoy bounty hunting, but I enjoy making bounty hunters chase me or besiege a defensive position even more. It's not that uncommon for a hunter to start griefing attempts after they finally succeed. I move on from those situations as well.

I move on. Sometimes the former bounty will come back for a revenge kill. If they do it once then OK, but if they keep coming back, then NO MERCY!

I hate bounties, I don't go after anyone, and if ones on me i'll leave and play privately.
