It would be pretty awesome if Yvonne Strahovski showed up at my house tomorrow and wanted to f*ck. But that has about as much chance of happening as your million dollar crate weekend, tbh.

That is an pathetic suggestion. It would defeat the purpose of the maintenance period where Rockstar did reduce the ingame money from millions to few hundred thousands. Also future heist would be pointless.

That was a bug and (mostly) fixed a couple of patches ago IIRC.

Played in a lobby 3-4 days ago and stood in a green circle for 30 minutes (was on the forum as well). I was wondering why there wasn't anything. So it's still bugged for me, I take it. (had no clue this was a bug)

It is still the same if people are in the circle it wont drop. Kinda annoying, but good I think.

 

now onto OP.. if they did something like 100k+ in a crate, it should drop in tough areas, like the military base, or the prison, gaurded pretty heavily, make it a challenge to get.

Nevermind 10mill. I gave up on crates as they are useless. The only good thing was a molotov that you dont end up keeping. If there were rare items and rewards worth getting, crate drops would be interesting as they were intended to be. R* starts off with some really great ideas, and then they just fall a little short. So much potential with this game.

when everyone in the lobby buys a $99 shark card it drops a crate with money and a snapback.

personally id prefer crates to ahve something that cant be achieved by normal gameplay, like a horse.. or a shotgun with mini RPG

Or like hunger games: When these 10m things drop (that is really rare) everyone from session would be put into a mode that requires 16 players to start (if there was not enough players in the session, random players would be forced to join it until there was max player amount). Then everyone would stand on small pads and countdown from 30 would start. After that the players would start collecting melee weapons from the starting area and kill each other (melee weapons would be only allowed weapons) player who is last alive wins the jackpot or half of it if they choose to team up with someone to kill the one of three last survivors. I know, i copied it from hunger games, but it would be a cool challenge. :D

Oh i almost forgot: Everyone had double health and survival clothes+backbag and some snacks to heal. The clothes would go to player's wardrobe after the fight of dollars.

 

Edit: The jackpot would be 500k-1m so the winner(s) would not swim in money.
