No they didn't. They said a release date would be announced but this was before all the wanna-be hackers started really trying to break the game. However if they said, as you claim, the first quarter of 2014 they are not lying as today is the first day of the first business quarter in 2014.

this was said by some R* PR person I believe back in late October early November... But he didn't say heists would be out he said information about heists would be available lol. But seeing as how R* hasn't said the word 'heist' since December, I'm guessing it'll be late June early July. Not saying we won't have a few DLC's along the way though.. But that's my gut feeling anyways.

god damn the modders and glitchers they didn't do a good enough job, since they are bringing out new music for missions damn you glitchers see ya didn't do a good enough job. If they did a good enough job, they would've stopped working on the music as well.

They'd probably be out all ready if assholes stopped abusing exploits and bugs. If people just reported bugs instead of using them for self gain Rockstar could deal with them after the heist release. Instead we have Rockstar developing patches and pushing everything they planned, back.
