A player got into my garage and would shoot me whenever I entered

Just then, I was playing online. I got a new car, modded it and drove it back to my garage (South Shambles Street 10-car garage) to keep it. It showed the cinematic shot of my character driving the car in, but before the screen changed to gameplay, I heard gunshots, and the Wasted screen appeared. I spawned in the middle of the city, far away from the garage. I called the mechanic, and the new car showed up on the list, so it had successfully gone into the garage. I went back to the garage and walked in this time, and was immediately shot and killed by a player upon entering. This happened a few more times until I reported the person. After that, they were gone from the server.

 

How does this happen? Would the person have deliberately glitched into my garage, or does it happen by accident? What's the point of even going in there?

Garage glitch and does not happen by accident. The point is, for the person doing the glitch, to troll and get a laugh at other player's expense.

Ok, thanks. What happens when I report someone? I've never had to do it before. Does it notify them, or kick them from the session or something?

It doesn't notify them and It doesn't kick them out the session. You can kick them out the session, If It's a public lobby, but it would have to be a majority vote kind of thing and other people in the lobby would have to also vote to kick said person.

 

Reporting someone really doesn't do much. I wouldn't bother with reporting through the game. Take a screen shot of the GT/PSN ID next time, record a video of the person in your garage, cell phone video would be fine. Send it to [email protected]

That Shambles Street lockup has the animation of you driving into garage like in the 10 car apartments??

I thought all the lockups just spawned you into garage.
