STR Racing & Car Meets (Read First Thread Post) PS4

As much as this is only GTA , I'm pretty sure most of us joined this crew to get away from all the assholes online who only want to shoot on sight for no reason. So to me it does seem a little contradicting and hypocritical on our behalf as a crew if all we end up doing is the same thing, shooting everyone on sight for no reason. Now being the assholes ourselves.

 

I'm just questioning whether it is the right way to be represent ourselves within the GTA and amongst new members or anyone who was thinking about joining. Theres a possibility it might turn a few people away. I love the diversity the crew brings and how there is always something new going on or being planned, but I'd just rather not see us going down that route as such...

 

I've no quarrel, no beef if all you are doing is defending yourself against some random asshole. By all means unleash hell until they leave if you need to.

Just more so on the sideline about actively going out our way to make the game a bit sh*t for someone else haha

Yeah I agree with 2020. I don't really like killing others but if they want some, they'll for sure get it AND more. Not something to be proud of but I have a 2+ KD for that very reason

I totally understand what you mean and i kinda agree even if i took part in take-over activities for the last 2 days.

 

But the point is: this is just an activity. and these kind of activities are just punctual.

 

Let's face it the whole GTAO mentality is already childish and rotten so we don't really make things any worse. (even if we're not making things better ourselves by doing that obviously).

 

But on the other hand we accept everyone in the crew as long as they can follow simple rules and we have lots of fun, the kind of fun R* had in mind while creating GTAO.

 

I've been helpful with a lot of players, but apart a small minority, everyone is as childish as we are during those take-over activities.

 

I mean, how many time have i been killed by my rooftop rumble teammates while spawning in front of Madrazzo's house while 30 seconds ago we were bff.

 

I would rather GTA online to be like IV online once was, a friendly playground where nobody would care about their k/d ratio.

But I've been killed for no reason so many times in V that i now kill every non-friend player that comes too close to me (and everyone does), because really, it's me or them.

 

In a few Months/years, when every 13 YO players will go back to play COD then i'm pretty sure the GTAO community will be a lot better and friendly.

Boats (Any & a Jet Ski *Seashark*)

Jets (If you don't have one just get in someones lol)

*Rules*

No killing

No blowing up cars

No jumping on top of cars

Have fun

If you follow those, then you're good!

Cruise/Meeting Places

Meeting: The Richman Hotel Parking Lot

Cruise

From there we will do a short cruise to the Playboy Mansion

Then we will go to Del Perro Beach Pier

After that we will go to La Puerta Boat Dock and we will get our boats and chill for a while

Then we will head up to Los Santos International Airport and get our Private Jets

We will land on the Grand Señora Desert Airport

There we will be doing some Drag Races and Photoshots

Then we will be going to the Alamo Sea and have fun racing around in the Jet Skis (Seashark)!

That's all guys!

For an Invite make sure to add XtRMSpO0N

And by the way, I don't have a mic would be good If you guys can entertain everyone saying random stuff lol!

While I don't agree with killing randoms. I do remember the countless times that I have been exploring and for no reason people have actively went and searched for me. This is the reason why I run around unarmed but as soon as a blip gets near I arm myself.

If we keep the hostile lobby takeover a sheduled event and even try organise with another crew then I am happy to continue. It's the nature of the beast!

Yeah a agree with ya about the "take overs" robbo probably better done just as a spur of the moment thing now and again on the other hand a also agree with 2020 that's the reason a wanted to join the crew in the first place cause 9 out 10 times you get blown up or shot whenever you go anywhere near random players . it is hypocritical on my part but either way ill go along with what the crew decide lol

 

A was on the str social club there and see the crews well past 100 members (117) top stuff . A also noticed the boys making emblems/logo's a take it that the logo has to be one chosen by lemon that the members can use not that a want change just wondered how that works ?

Had a great lobby take over with a few of the fellow STRR members, thanks , , , and the other guys who joined in with us! Was awesome all hanging on the car chasing people down and killing them and making them leave the lobby and also hopping in tanks and owning the lobby haha!

This isnt aimed at anyone personally (so I left the names out) as it does sound fun! haha

 

But whether its at someone else's expense, then I don't know how to feel about it.

 

I'm not trying to turn this into a two-sided argument as I'm not completely against it at all. Nor do I want to get too deep into this. As we all know - its only GTA - about 95% of the people in those lobbies deserve it in someway or another ha. But there are also good people out there and innocent ones too, so i don't believe that everyone deserves being forced into passive mode by a tank until they leave the lobby (but maybe it isn't always like this). That was really the only thing that bothered me to a little extent and I was purely wondering how hypocritical it would be as probably most of us joined this crew to get away from that behaviour from randoms as I regarded previously.

 

It might be sounding like I'm in total disagreement. I'm not. I'm no saint myself.

Just MO on the take overs, I feel if you don't want to be killed or completely dominated by a crew having fun, then play invite only or crew only sessions. Public lobbies are fair game for domination. Kill or be killed out there guys.

Or offer them the chance to join us and be spared certain death

Alright people I just spent the last 2 hours with a few metal instruments in my knee! I'm a little sore and really tired, but I will be logging on and hour earlier than the meet to dupe some of my cars.

 

I have asked multiple times that you all set the visibility of your Linked Account to Crew and Friends on the RockStar Social Club and some have but we still have a bunch that have not . You have until May 1 to do this or you will be removed from the crew. Anyone who sent a request for an invite that does not have it visible will not attend a recruitment meet. We need to see everyone's names.

 

I do not want to be so heavy handed when dealing with this kind of thing but we need cooperation when we ask for it.
