I'm not interested because the event is described as being quite difficult. I'm a bottom-tier racer in normal STRR events as it is. Something deliberately designed to be difficult is just going to wind up with me losing several hundred dollars, to replace my tv, the controller I'll throw through it, and to buy medications for high blood pressure.

 

In fact I'm seriously considering converting some of my "race" cars back into street/show cars and just doing meets. Meets are fun. Losing in racing, as consistently and horribly as I do, is not.

@ Everyone - I'm not forcing anyone to join my meets but I'm getting tired of hosting something when no one is even bothered. Tonight will be the last time I host, like I said, hardly anyone can be bothered so it's a waste of time for me setting them up really.

 

Also, there is a space open for a GT1 driver (Boosted can't make it) for mine & chilli's team.

I will also be on Tuesday around 2pm for heists, although I'm not financially secure enough in GTA lol so I can't be a leader, but if anyone wants a follower, then I'm your dude!

 

Yeah, this does annoy me. Obviously we can't make people sign up and everyone has a different mentality.... Personally if ya tell me it's too hard or too difficult i look forward to the challenge and beating it. Thats not to get at anyone but i can tell you as good as i was when i first joined having the likes of Vetren and Celt pushing me has made me better at racing. Still i'll be there, only problem i have is the last race is in cars i don't own but i can make do with the standard.... Another challenge!

 

M-Powered, don't give it up man. I'm no expert on hosting but my meets seem to do pretty well (even with the looming threat of me beating a few people to death with my good old golf club lmao) so if ya wanna ask anything or need idea's on how to get more people involved drop me a message... Or Eqaulo or Robo. Sure we could help out.

Who will win next?

Here we go again The Vespucci Sprint Cup the third of four STRR Official Race Event.

Ten races in five different classes of vehicles, super, sports, coupes, muscle and introducing sports classics.

Two Rockstar created races Panic Stations (muscle) and On The G.O.H (sports), aswell as two fan favorites The Pacific Coast Grand Prix and The Mckenzie Loop (now in super sports).

Also Mattinho666 hand picked race The Los Santos Grand Prix (coupes) created by Mattinho666.

And our featured race The Vespucci Speedway a ten lap race with contact, slipstream and catch-up on.

The winner of this race will be given 5 points to there over all score.

A Fastest Lap point will be awarded for each race aswell.

All races in the playlist are in non-contact except the last one and are in there class of vehicle except the two Rockstar created races and Mattinho666 race.

As long as you're talking about getting names right, I'd like to point out to you that there's no O anywhere in my name. It's not "Jay-Robert" or "Jay-Roberts". The first E in JRebbert512 is short, like the E in "egg" or "bed".

 

Nobody ever needs to say the numbers (but for the record it's "five one two", not "five twelve" or anything else". "Jay-Rebbert" is fine, or just "Jay", or my full first name of "Justin" is also fine. I don't really much like being called just "Rebbert".

Potential new forums

 

Okay guys I found a cool website I have known about this place for a long time but never really required it but know i am in this crew its has a purpose

I threw the idea of our own forum out there a while ago, it would give us a lot more control. No trolls, better banners and so on. We could still operate this as a way of getting new members, run them through recruitment here before giving them the details of the forum and so on. I'd be all for it but depends what everyone else says..... May even give us scope to branch into other games as I know a few of us are getting Project Cars.

blockparty again, haha, that forum looks good, and if you were prepared to pay for it and we all made it a rule to correspond from the new site then I think it could work, but we get a lot of traffic from these forums, so we would need to set up a directional post to direct new recruits to the new website, this would need to be discussed between Sol, Myself and the Commissioners, nice man

I have also been thinking to make a gamecrew, and use our own forum for that. There are a couple of games that multiple people play, and if i look what the future will bring (Project cars, Rainbow six siege, The division,...) then this place is gonna be to small to keep us going. Freeforums is a good free alternative, then we can have a whole forum for ourselves. Split it up in games and events, movie's and such. Would give us the opportunity to keep thing's tidy and easy to find. As time moves on we'll probably want to set up events for other games as well and such. If we would do such a thing then i think it would be a good idea to make a choice for something that is free, makes it easier in the long run . One thing less that could cause a problem;

 

Red rum and Broughy also use freeforums from what i saw, looks alright.

 

Regarding the heist thing, i'm not gonna sign up for a certain team because i will probably be on a lot (misses is gone skiing ) and i'll join were needed. I've got vehicles, weapons everything needed and i've got enough money left to be the leader if wanted, i'll even split it fair .

So i'm at your service.
