Ft. Zancudo is OP.

They need to tone down Zancudo. Its nearly impossible to get a jet. If you have a good internet connection you're f*cked because the game can respond to you faster. If you're lagging its a little easier.

 

I've had tanks spawn out of thin air in front of me. I've had hundreds of army jeeps surround me as soon as my car hopped the fence, I've had a soldier with a f*cking minigun annihilate me before I could even open the cockpit. Oh, and the magic tanks and AA missiles that kill you as soon as you get airborne. And police choppers that catch up with a jet. Yeah. Meanwhile some talentless little fa**ot can call up a tank for 200 bucks whenever they want. Yeah OK.

 

They need to make jets available from pegasus. Period. No reason to even go to zancudo anymore. f*ckin place sucks anyway.

 

I did get a jet once tonight, but some fa**ot with a sh*tty connection was camping in a jet nearby and shot me down as I headed into the city to deal with a tank. I smashed me TV and controller and everything. Guess I won't be playing for a while.

it's really easy once you get used to it. Only downside is that guy who shoots you down when you steal a jet. Best way to take one is by infiltrating the base either by parachute/helicopter and always take the jets that are on the other side of the hangar as tanks aren't mostly there

No you just suck at getting to the jets I've never once been killed while trying to get a jet or while flying in a jet.

 

Don't blame others for your lack of skills

 

Might i suggest you try and go in via helo and parachute out you won't get any stars until you land next to the jet and by time they react you'll be in the air and soon as you get in the air fly straight up into the air the AA will miss everytime

 

At least i've never failed going in that way

On a serous note, the jet is not that hard to get. If you're flying in with a chopper, it's a piece of cake. You can even get to a jet before you get a wanted level. If you're jumping in with the car, pay attention to the military units' locations, and drive to a jet which is away from the 'heat'. When in the jet, if you have rockets on you, just keep doing loops and fly out of the base airspace, and you'll avoid them 100% of the time, providing your timing isn't way too late.

If you fly straight up (I mean like vertically up) until you reach the clouds, you won't have any trouble from the AI jet. If there is ever a cargo bob flying above the base you don't need to worry about the jet either cause they don't spawn if the bob is there.

This is why i don't ever get killed i go in via helo every time i know exactly where they spawn and by time I'm wanted I'm already in the air

OP? No. It's how it should be guarded.

 

There is no soldiers with miniguns. They have Carbines though, unlike other AI.

 

It's honestly not hard to steal a Lazer. Drive or fly in, go to one of the outside Lazers, shoot anyone that approaches, hop in and fly straight up. Call Lester or go high to lose police helicopters, and fly a bit away so the AI jet despawns and you're all good.

 

Actually, if you take off low over the fence, it doesn't even spawn, and if you take one of the Lazers in the middle, the tanks go all the way around.

 

It's easy.

Wow. You guys must be playing a different game. I parachuted in, and before my guy OPENED the cockpit, a barracks truck had parked in front of me and the driver got out with a MINIGUN, yes, a f*cking mini gun, and killed me.

 

2nd time parachuting in, I get in, fly straight up, boom. AA missile.

 

3rd time, jump the fence, no jets are on the ground, drive around looking for one, boom. Tank.

 

4th time, jump the fence, I'm literally inside the base for 6 seconds, a f*ckin tank spawn in front of me. Dead.

 

5th time. Friends distract military. Get jet. Make it to city limits, player jet shoots me down. Smash TV.

 

The only time I've been able to get a jet is when one or more players ate inside the base distracting the military. The games AI memory is split reacting to different players, so you get less attention. Its the same concept as the police responding to multiple players battling it out downtown. The AI resources are stretched thin so there's less pressure on everybody.

 

As it stands now, Zancudo is OP. I'm in the army, guess what? The MPs drive around in Chevy Impalas and are armed with pistols. Not tanks and miniguns.

Come on now, the soldiers don't have mini guns in FZ. Everyone fails the first few time they try to get a jet but it really is easy once you have had a few goes.

 

I can get one 9/10. Saying that though 9/10 I don't do anything worthwhile with one besides make an awesome explosion when I crash spectacularly into a building trying to look like a cool mule.

I forgot to add, spin a bit while you're doing it and it seems to throw off the AA missiles. Just stole a jet to see if it's gotten harder since I last tried a few months ago and got it first try. Practice makes perfect.

I thought that was the whole point of it, being classed as a Restricted Area.

 

It is possible to steal a jet from Zancudo and make it out alive. It's very difficult, but manageable.

I can understand certain things, sometimes the soldiers will kill you very fast, not common and the tanks spawn far away.

When you hear a radar warning, wait 1 to 2 seconds and then go vertical, won´t fail.

 

Just calm down, and be quick.

We need to try this out in one of our 6 man uncoordinated carefully planned raids on the base, in which usually almost some of us sometimes definitely get away with a jet without being completely obliterated.
