seriously I dont get it I feel theres gotta be plenty of players out there overall and anytime i try to quick join capture theres never anyone already hosting just sets me in a lobby with me solo as host and then i wait around an no one ever joins. what gives? is capture really that bad or is it a match making issue?

 

anytime i join races or other jobs i get in filled up lobbies right away.

Everyone likes to make money and not have fun sadly, and the people who like to have fun in the game left because everyone was making money doing boring repetitive races over and over.

Actively. Among the hordes of bullsh*t RR's & camping DM's, there are quite a bit of players who seek a challenge & play the game it was meant to, none of this suburban "I'm-a-badass-thug-criminal,-I-don't-play-nice,-Thug-Life-biotch!" attitude most kids players love.

Free-aim btw. That's where I usually find more.

Indeed. I am just average or actually less than average skill in GTA (and never gonna get better), and there are many many players like me. In a PvP mission like capture, my chances of actually surviving to the end of the mission and actually contributing something to it are about 1%. It's pointless and frustrating for me. Within typically 60 seconds, I am spectating. I think many players feel the same way. PvP missions in general are frustrating. It's a fact of life.

 

Back in the old days of Unreal Tournament, Capture the Flag was a bit of fun, especially with some of the creative and fun maps that people made. But ironically, with GTA0's much bigger map, which should be the coolest thing, capture is even harder, since there is much more chance of getting killed before delivering anything.

managed to play 1. 3v4 and we could respawn so maybe only certain capture games suck and you cant respawn? I dislike LTS because of the no respawn. capture was a lot of fun first time i played it. went 12k 3d and collected a fair amount of bags returned to base.

 

it is true though we were out numbered by 1 person and still managed to smoke the other team it was kinda sad how bad 2 of the players on the other team were. is capture really more lively on free roam?

 

I used to only play free roam but since i find most match making to be dead in there i can hardly ever find a good mission that fills up fast besides RR. i went over to AA so i could do some racing and other modes but it seems capture is dead on AA also.

 

I dont see the appeal of normal death match when capture exists maybe most the ones besides what i played suck but the one map i got was fun and you could respawn.

i play capture with my crew and its awesome. you get a far amount of money win or lose. i just dont get why people play it.
