Should I buy an Entity XF or a Maverick?

Right now, I just got a Turismo R and I'm modding it. Should I save up and get an Entity or a Maverick? I would like an Entity with the Turismo, it would make my garage look nice and it's good to have two supercars(plus it looks better than the Turismo in my opinion). On the other hand, I would like to have a helicopter. Right now I call Merryweather and steal the Maverick. I do it frequently and after a while they stop letting me steal it. I was thinking of getting a frogger, but for 1.3M I would get an Adder or Entity and save up for a tank. The Maverick will help me with Rooftop Rumble and make getting a chopper more convenient. What do you guys think? They cost almost the same!

The Entity XF for sure because you can get a Maverick anytime you want by calling Merryweather for a Helo Pickup and you can steal it anytime you call them there is a 5 minute delay between calls but as long as you are near a flat surface they'll come every time it's a helluva lot cheaper you'll never get your money back in usage of the maverick if you buy one.

 

But if you really want a Helo save up for the Buzzard now that one is worth the money

I'm afraid it won't because if you buy the maverick you won't be able to use it for RR because you'd have to go and pick it up every single time they don't deliver it like the Merryweather Helo does so it's not worth it just for that call Merryweather for the pickup the only reason why you wouldn't be able to call the helo is if you've tried to call before the time limit was up such as restarting RR and you called the helo in the previous attempt the helo won't come because of the time limit.

 

As for the Adder it is the fastest car but the handling on it is horrible so either get the Entity XF or the Turismo R

I hate the maverick, I bought a frogger, I don't think much beats it for getting from point A to point B as quick as possible, with VTOL anyway.

 

Sure it's pricey, but it's worth it based on how much I use it.

OP, You already have an inferior super car don't compound your mistake by buying a Maverick, save up or make R* happy and buy a SC, and get a Buzzard.

At least with Cars you car sell your mistakes and recoup some $$$

Maverick is a really useless buy, and a waste of 1.2M. Along with the frogger, it has a high chance of spawning on pretty much any helipad, and you can just call Merryweather for 'helicopter pickup', or Lester for "locate helicopter' for a fraction of the cost. If you want a multifunction chopper, buy a Buzzard.

The Maverick is pointless because you could just call Merryweather for a helicopter pickup. Plus, if you call a Maverick, you have to pick it up at given location while the helicopter pickup from Merryweather lands wherever you are (suitable road of course).

It isn't 'bulletproof' but it is basically impossible to get a hit angle on the driver once the car passes you. Don't know what people are complaining about though. I have zero problem with using an assortment of explosives at my disposal, providing its driver is acting like a complete ass.

I think at this point a Maverick is about the only thing I don't own* - there's no point. Don't do it.

 

I was mad when I found out my Buzzard spawns at the nearest airfield rather than being delivered, if I'd just bought a Maverick I'd have been suicidal lol

I'm pretty new in terms of time but I'm level 54, I also heard ALL the helicopters spawn around the map, especially the buzzard. Based on feedback, I think I'll skip the Entity. Now If I save up, I'll probably get a Frogger or Buzzard. I know what other people have said about calling Merryweather, I will probably keep using that for RR but in free mode I use helicopters frequently and I Merryweather stops sending Mavericks. Probably the best choice for me would be buying a Frogger. Buzzards spawn at my level(~55ish) and on, and after using one, I hate the missile auto-lock. Annihilator is out because it's slow and a bad value(no missiles, same capacity, but costs more than buzzard?). Or should I get a tank (:

I just bought a entity and I can say its one of the most fun fastest cars I drove in GTA.

Agree, I was slow to try the entity (didn't want to jump on the band wagon), but I think its the most useful car in the game. I don't use it all the time, but always for the most serious of missions/situations. And with limited money, wouldn't buy any heli but the buzzard.

Yes, I will save up for the Frogger. Tanks are fun, but it gives you bad sport easily, they're slow,and it costs a little more. The Frogger is probably the most practical, because the most I'll ever need is to seat 4 people and after using a friend's buzzard I feel the weapons are hard to use and I'll rarely need to use them. Plus I love the design and yes they are fast.

I have a tank - worthless. Not even worth getting it out to fight other tanks, it is incredibly boring.

 

I have a Buzzard - super fast, fun to fly, the ultimate mission vehicle end of story, fun to use with friends against tanks. They will NOT spawn in missions, nor in Freemode when you actually want one.

 

I do not own a Frogger - but it's great, fast, responsive handling, sharp looking. But for the price, you will want to own a Buzzard first because of it's great utility in this game. The Frogger (and Maverick) are too defenseless for their steep cost. The disadvantages are many, the only plus is that you will stand alone as a Frogger owner.

 

As far as the Entity goes, it is unfortunately the best car in the game. There is absolutely no doubt. It's the fastest car, and the easiest to drive fast. Ideal for racing, missions, and freemode shenanigans. Sold mine after hating its appearance for roughly two months.

The Maverick is slow, extremely weak and it spawns a lot at helipads.

 

The Frogger looks really nice, and both the Buzzard and the Frogger are super quick and agile.

The buzzard comes in very handy for several missions. It makes a lot of them trivial when you don't feel like grinding RR. I really like it for things like the los santos connection and cleaning up the cat house
