PS3 Online Freezes or Players left.

Just in the last two days,GTA online has been freezing up alot (having to turn of the console from the back) or sometimes its happened to others and 45% to 75% of the server leave.
Me and my girlfriends PS3's seem to be experiencing this today.
Has this happened to anyone recently?
I hear it might brick or damage our PS3's.

I've played GTA Online for more than 800 hours and before 1.11 I've had less than 10 freezes. Since the last patch 1.11 the game started to freeze more often, both in SP and MP, and on top of that a huge increase in connection/matchmaking issues (intensifying the last days). Earlier, R* said that continuous freezing could be due to hardware failure/problems, but I think it's safe to say that something went wrong with the latest patch since so many people are experiencing the same issues. (edit: i'm on ps3 as well)

I'm on a ps3. Bought it refurbished and for the year i've had it the console didn't freeze once.... Until the latest patch. Now it's froze easily over 30 times in the last month... Grrrrrrr

Yep i think mine froze nine times on saturday maybe more it is definetly since 1.11 because i went away and bought a brand new ps3 and GTA because of the freezing but it still froze patch 1.12 would want to fix this sh*t because the online game is a big enough mess as it is without freezing added into the mix best of luck man

I don not have any freezing but when i enter a lobby 5min after all the players leave the room! I know this is connectivity problem but if it has some solution, tell me please!

 

Obs: I also have 2 other errors: "Unknown network error" "Time limit reached"

My PS3 froze about 5min ago, it only seems to happen after playing online for a couple hours. The only way to get out of the freeze is to press the power button. When the console shuts down it beeps twice. If I'm not mistaken that means it resets? Does anyone know if there is a system/error log that can be accessed?

I'm on xbox and it freezes about as often as it does for you guys it seems, since the latest patch. I was about to buy a PS3 and move there since there's a lot more players but not if you've got all those other problems D:
