Why do you think you would manage to download a +1.3GB file to play an online game mode with a sh*tty internet connection like that? No matter if someone upload the entire new citizen files to MEGA, Rapidshare, Thepiratebay, etc.. No matter the speed provided from these download sites, you would have difficulties even by downloading a .gif file from them without having to wait for several minutes.

 

BTW: you wouldn't get online more than 10 seconds without taking a CTD because the game needs that you sop at some place for some time to download all the props, textures, lods, etc. Your internet connection wouldn't help you at this situation...

 

mods, I'm not promoting piracy by using these download sites as examples. I wouldn't do this because we need to feed our master and leader Gabe f*ckin Newel at the glorious steam master race.

No man...in MEGA my download speed reached 800 kb/s, in Mediafire 500 kb/s, cant remember other server now...I dont have lag in any game...if my internet connection was bad, I wouldn´t say this...the problem is the download site. Please friend, could u upload the file to MEGA? Sincerly, my internet connection is good :(

The problem is:
Someone uploaded the file on Yandex Disk.
This service may not perform well for everyone.
Even I got 5kb/s trying to download the 5.7GB Cache
I was planning to mix it with my cache folder.
But I gave up...

If you explain in a better way, I will understand.

 

You said today your internet is slow and your download speed is 5kbps, so you wouldn't download nothing at that speed, hence all the questions.

My internet is ok, normal. The problem is the server of the donwload. You can help me if u upload the files (I dont know how much files I have to donwload) to MEGA or other fast server...I´d appreciate it :D

Wouldn't that be a pain in the ass to set up?

And about the performance... A local server + IV... =S

Actually, the performance isn't that bad at all. Run one; you'll see that it takes no more than 150MB (in my experience, running a server with ~3 players online).

 

you have ipl/wpl file for all map?

Even if he has, it'd be no use without the patches that you cannot do.

 

Inb4 'ViIV SA I MADE THIS'.

Hey all. I can start my game just fine and join a server, get in game and go exploring San Andreas. It seems to work fine without any trouble. However I cannot get the game to start with the trainer installed. I get the error message:

This module is only compatible with GTAIV.exe version 1.0.7.0.

 

I've searched this post but have found no solutions to the problem. I've dragged dsound.dll, Trainertbogt.asi and trainertbogt.ini into my CitizenFX folder root. (where CitizenFX.exe is located).

 

My GTAIV.exe says it is version 1.0.7.0 (applied the official patch prior to Citizen install)

 

If anyone has any ideas I'd greatly appreciate it. Btw, I want the trainer to control my own weather/time, and spawn the occasional car for myself =).

May I say, this looks beautiful which reminds me...when a more stable release comes on, does anyone plan on doing a trailer to get the juices flowing for players who don't even know this exists?

 

Hello! I want to add some graphics mods to my GTA 4 (retail version).
However, the game doesn't start (gtaiv.exe is running in processes, but the game just won't start) when some mod adds d3d9.dll file to the game's root folder.
For example - I have the whole ENB mod installed, but when its d3d9.dll file is in the root folder, the game just won't start. When I rename it or delete it, the game starts. But the mod looks weird.
I have .net 4 and c++ redist installed and there are no d3d apps running in the background. I also have latest nvidia drivers.
Can someone help me with this? Thanks

I tried everything but the VIIV map doesn't woirk.It crashes saying couldn't connect after after 3 attempts or fatal error.

Do you have leftovers from viiv-alpha1 standalone version?

Delete this if you find one of them.

i had this error because stupid avast, so disable your antivirus, delete all in citizen folder except cache folder and CitizenFX.exe andCitizenFX.ini, then run CitizenFX.exe and wait for update, then login and it should be all ok, as long you disabled antivirus while running CitizenFX.exe....

adding citizen folder to antivirus exception doesn't help because there was some files in temp folder creating, so i recommend you every time you want play citizen disable your antivirus and when you finish gaming, turn it on again :)

Sup, i've been monitoring this thread for some time now as i was excited to explore the map, but now that we only have 60 days to the release of GTA V and GTA Online on the PC, what's the point of Citizen? I mean, it's nowhere near to being stable. Who's gonna wait so long for an mp mod based on a terrible port from 6 years ago?

 

I'm not bitching or anything but i think it's a waste of NTA's time.

Citizen is being built on IV but it is not exclusive to IV.

 

It will also work with V and I personally will be playing Ciztizen over Rockstars pay2play multiplayer.

 

We will have far more options with Citizen and no lame money grubbing schemes.

I have some doubts about this being smooth n' clean one day.
I mean, IV port sucks...

It needs a lot of hacks to achieve a great draw distance and a nice optimization with V Huge Map.

I was having crashes on my last install and I decided to download the full mod that TheDeadlyDutchi uploaded for us.

 

I ended up getting some error about crashing and I have included my crash dump here. The EXE is running windows XP SP3 and in admin mode on 8.1 64 bit.
