Out of curiousness, was Gerald's apartment complex converted into the map?

This doesn't show your program is making any kind of connection to any servers besides a web-browser, probably from steam, connection to google. How exactly do we know its working? A lot of the program feels choppy and we can see you've built it off of steam. How can you remake steam while using steam as the base?

 

 

That would not be impressive at all. There are at least half a dozen libraries which can do that. Just reference them in your project, add a couple lines of code and you're connected.

gta viiv is not working on windows 8.1 it load 10 to 20 mins and then crash

^^If it takes more than five minutes to load the first time around, you should've known from the start you have an issue. Are you using a crack of any sort?

Ok guys, FINALLY got ENB to load on Windows 8.1 with this mod! What I had to do is after installing everything, right click on d3d9.dll and goto properties then edit the security and enable full control for all accounts, I did this for gtaiv.exe, as well. Then I took ownership of the entire game folder, including the settings folder (which I emptied) and savegames folder (also empty). I then ran the game from GTAIV.exe without any issues! FINALLY!

 

 

I've tried that and it didn't work for me...

What..? Of course not. It does also work on Vista if DirectX 11 is installed. All you have to do is to turn on Windows Updates and make sure that you have the platform update installed.

It wouldn't be an issue at all if it worked on CitizenIV... for me, it doesn't work on that neither(the ENB), so i guess whatever is in that asi from NTA conflicts somewhere with the enb d3d9.dll

 

Could it be that it doesn't work because i turned off UAC? Or because display drivers interfere? Hm, i doubt because ENB works fine without this mod/CitizenIV...

 

Whatever i guess... i'm not such a ENB ass-kisser anyway...

 

 

 

By the way, the application crash log mentions a StackHash... it may be something with the object hashes too... because i know NTA changed how the game reads objects in the IDE(it reads hashes instead of strings/names)

Okay; you can now get a set of cache files (required for running ViIV in CitizenMP) from the usual ViIV download site (you know, the .re one, mentioned in the ol' README.txt). They're meant to be used on the latest version of CitizenMP available from http://citizen.re/ - server files for the ViIV resources will follow as soon as I remove the requirement for having the cache exist on the server as well; though I'm running an example server for now.

 

Here be dragons, and whatever; crashes will occur. Have fun!

 

(also, there should be less issues than before; a bunch of code changes made for ViIV have been reviewed and rewritten, so things may be a bit more stable now)
