Bugs found:
1. Some parts and buildings are not completed. In some parts, trees float in air,
some buildings, the main ones, are not complete, just some parts lay scattered
2. There are no peds or cars in most areas of the City, they only appear in very few numbers in a few areas.
3. The objects on streets like small trees, dustbins, benches.etc(not walls or houses) are not solid, people can go through
them.
4. Some parts of the city are just blank, there's nothing, the roads suddenly end in empty area.
Also, in the houses in which you can enter(Like character's houses and shops), when you enter these houses,
you fall in an empty area, straight to a waterbody, and then see the whole city above you! That means that the buildings have to solid interiors.
5. Need to play more and in more detail, to find more!!

Have you ever read this thread sir? If you did, you'll know that everyone knows about these bugs and they already reported them from the first day of release.

Meanwhile it's getting to beta & Release, I'll continue looking for someone who can make a DMC Aventador model, or at least a proper engine sound for it.

Haven't been able to bother implementing the main pending feature (on-the-fly resource conversion) yet as it's a horrible mess of guessing seeing as no public RAGE resource writer code exists to use as workflow reference. Outside of that the lack of model info streaming is holding up adding more map areas (even though the old way with hours of processing time is horrible), and I keep forgetting the main means I had thought up for implementing that.

I have a problem loading the map. I may have set the graphic settings to very low, enabled clip capture, put the latest version of ASI loader into the game directory and even removed the Simple Native Trainer for it as well. No other mod files are used all but Viiv.

 

Also the crash fix on that main ASI file for Viiv doesn't help either.

 

Edit: I deleted that Viiv DLL file that may have caused the crash and did not replace the xlive.dll. It worked.

There's another problem. Due to the thousands of objects that need to be loaded, a low-end video card will not run well. I keep getting a video card memory crash in Windows 7 because the game ran out of video memory. Despite going 1080p resolution and all graphic settings on low, it did not help, but it did help in Windows XP. I use a Geforce GT 220 (1 GB DDR3 VRAM) on one of my PCs.

 

I haven't tried playing this in another PC with a Geforce GTX 550 ti (with 1 GB GDDR5 VRAM). I guess a 2 GB GDDR5 video card is strongly recommended to play this mod map.

Not perfect, because IV Engine sucks and the map is still alpha...

err, I didn't understood what that topic means, is it a new mod you're developing to SA, a custom billboard? :S

 

By the way, advanced shaders won't be missed for me, I use internet explorer.

With 2GB DDR5 VGA I don't have performance issues. I have map loading issues instead.

Has anybody not noticed every time you exit the mod map, the game crashes with an error? That stability issue on game exit needs to be fixed.

 

Also more opinions on the alpha map:

1) The highways/freeways are not completed, not to mention two incomplete bridges.

2) All road tunnels don't have solid ground even if textures are seen.

3) Downtown is missing some tall buildings that didn't show up ingame.

 

 

One new suggestion I thought to bring up, NTA, if you can't exceed the map length due to map restrictions you could curtail the map by a mile in width, lessen the landscape and can still fit in all the roads for the Los Santos map. Improvising the north end of Los Santos may be needed. Besides I don't think you are trying to make the Los Santos map to be as exact as the one in GTA V.

As if wasn't enough to try to Hijack NTA's ViIV development/thread until NTA kick his butt out of here and he ending cursing NTA's project, RanZY is "hijacking" steam and GTA V cars models too, I think someone will have serious copyrights issues on the future.

 

Don't try to hijack this thread again with your BS like you are doing again, it's ugly. Create your own threads and post your stuffs there.
