You will need an account on Social club, but it works fine on cracked GTA IV

 

EDIT: since it's alpha, it has some minor bugs, the most frequent is animation action bugs, sometimes you try to shoot and the bullet doesn't go off, but you still do the shooting animation, the same thing to hotwire animation. But it's a lot playable

 

NTA told ViIV version is comming soon.

 

How to install:

 

Unzip to whatever folder you want, click on Citizen Icon (blue IV) and choose your GTA IV folder, create a social club account and have fun. IT'S NOT NECESSARY GAMESFORsh*tLIVE ACCOUNT

Make sure you don't have any mod installed on your GTA IV to avoid conflicts. My GTA IV is """"""""VIRGIN""""""""" and it's working fine here. Looks like trainers works on citizen, but you must be a prick if you use it and ruin the MP (unless you don't harm anyone with it).

 

ViIV version is coming, this mean it's only for IV Liberty City, make sure your GTA is at 1.0.7.0. I guess you'll need to delete your ViIV folder because it's only for GTA IV LC. I hope you have a GTA IV backup folder with you

 

EDIT: Try to run the game as administrator

 

EDIT2: You will open the multiplayer with Citizen (Blue IV) shortcut, not GTA IV shortcut.

I can confirm it works (CitizinFX IV), it's pretty epic.

 

But, unfortunately you /cannot/ do anything on there yet. I think it's one of the very first builds.

 

I would love to see an API or some sort for missions, etc; so people could help NTA out with some stuff. I'd be happy to help him with that.

 

One of the missing things i saw in the server list was a refresh button, and a exit button of course

 

Other than that, it's pretty epic!

Have you ever read this topic to understand that CitizenFX can break a lot of GTA IV modding limitations and without citizenFX there's no way to do a V full scale map? Yor poste is a "pice of crap".

 

For someone who won't pay him a single penny to play his mod, you are too picky, so chill the f*ck out.

It's a new mod, and it doesn't work for some people, not that many people play GTA IV online in general (that's an assumption). It will become more popular soon, just wait. I only got it working for a few mins, it crashes for me ;( just gonna wait for a newer version

the map is completed, nta just need to break the boundaries of gta iv engine to fit gta v map, and that will come with citizen i guess

I don't use that tablet windows myself, but I know some do who can also play GTA4, whats wrong?

Windows 8 has some real big issues with GTA 4. I myself had a hard time fixing it.

 

EDIT: @mihaib - Maybe you could PM me about the problem and I'll try to help you fix it.

the only issue there ever has been is the bundled LIVE installer not working, which doesn't matter for CitMP/FX anyway as it doesn't use the system xlive.dll at all

 

outside of that there's the common issue people who buy 'all-new systems with a new OS' have of more than 2 GB of video RAM being detected incorrectly
