...to defend myself when I felt I was being treated unfairly. As pretty much ALL the mods let me know, this is THEIR message board and they have the right to ban any of us ANY time they want for what ever they want. My feeling on message boards were always that they were a "community" and that the members and mods worked TOGETHER to make it an awesome place to kill time and chat with other like minded people. That does not seem to be the case here. I will definitely just sit down and be quiet like all the mods want me to. Because I have no other choice. No need to respond to this, mods...I am DONE.

 

P.S, I hope the mods are the ones spending money with all the advertisers of this site....since they are the main reason the boards still exist, and not it's members.

Nobody's going to be able to respond to you unless you stop being a brat. Moaning about your ban and saying "I'm done" doesn't impress anybody and nobody's going to try and help you out if you're acting like that.

 

If you do something wrong, you're going to be punished, that's just life. Like the saying goes, if you can't do the time, don't do the crime.

 

If you stop acting like somebody who didn't get special treatment, wait a few weeks and contact one of the moderators regarding your ban. Their response will depend on the severity of your ban and your offence, obviously.

Wasn't being a brat, just defending what I felt was unfair treatment. I am new here and didn't know how the dynamic worked....now I do. I am DONE fighting it....not done with the site.

 

....the SEVERITY of my offense was double posting, which I had no knowledge of what it was till AFTER my ban. Good communication on the part of the mods would have prevented continued offenses of this, but as stated by them....they can do whatever they want. So, I don't care anymore.

 

....also....if you look at any of my posts on this topic, I have dealt with the mods on an adult level. I haven't once called them out or called them out of their names or cussed them out, like the other 9 million people upset with them in this subforum.

If you read them and will behave, unless you've done something major, I doubt you'll be shot down. Making a topic about your ban in Network Support isn't the best thing to do, so keep that in mind for the future. I already gave you what advice you needed,so give my other post another read if necessary.

I read the rules....and the "offense" wasn't even listed as an offense. I am done talking about it....thanks for your input sir, have a GREAT day! :-)

OK, here's the deal. It's obvious by your warning (TEMP banning) that you've been told already to stop double posting. So regardless of whether or not it's in the rules, you were conscious of what you were doing.

 

Normally, when an account is created to avoid a temp ban, both accounts are banned. I'm not going to do that this time. I am going to give you a moment to acknowledge this post, them I'm going to ban this account "WhyAmIBanned?" and your original account will be allowed to return when the temp ban is finished.

 

If that's not satisfactory, I can ban both your accounts and you will not be welcome to return.
