Wouldnt it be cool if rockstar added a new DLC that would allow you to upgrade your exhaust on your car therefore changing the sound?

GTA-Freak-Vi

I want the engine sound of the Coquette on pretty much all my cars (especially when it changes gears, Cargasm)

I would change all my car sounds to Franklins buffalo i just enjoy that sound of that motor and not a bad idea for the future could go in a big car pack.

One of the selling points of a car is the car's sound IMO..up until the DLC, the Grotti or whatever had the unique sound, that and the Feltzer shared the same unique sound (its also the sound of the car that revs up at the start of the game with the R logo).

I don't know why so many cars sound the same..it'd be nice too if the muscle cars were much louder when you modified them. My uncles turbo charged Mustang GT is loud as anything even when he just starts the thing.

Agreed. this should be made available to all cars that can be modified at LSC. I am sick and tired of my fully modded Asterope sounding bone stock when its really a sleeper :)

Other cars just sound strange. The Issi sort of sounds like an electric car or hybrid. Same thing with the Hanabero.

Yeah and there's a reason no one really uses the Lotus or whatever it is in-game..sounds like a Shop Vac. If people are willing to ditch a car just because it sounds horrible, why haven't they given unique sounds to every car? They have unique sounds for each and every gun (although Im not sure about hand guns), why not cars?

Friendly Lava Lamp

Definitively would pay for that DLC, but it wouldn't cost more than $2.

Would be funny if they gave you the option to adjust the size and shape of the exhaust and you could make any sound you liked. Could be a bit annoying.

Sir Michael

To be honest, it should have became standard. There's no reason for the Sanchez to have the same sound as a sports bike...

they would make the biggest loudest exhaust possible and throw it on a Chradder.

Well I think the bigger the exhaust the softer the sound, so if you were looking to make it the most annoying sound the smaller the more high pitch.

you have never seen a ricer before, have you? They make more noise than a v8 Hemi, and its all thanks to those fat ass exhaust systems.

I wish they'd change the sound of the Elegy. That was one of the reasons I got rid of mine.

No I'm saying for the pitch, the smaller the exhaust the higher the pitch. The larger the louder but its also not as sharp. I'm fairly sure that's how it is at least. Ran over a chunk of concrete about 2 years ago and the only thing that hit was my exhaust since it hangs lower. It made it flat and it made a piercing noise that was unbearable.

I wasn't talking about pitch I was talking about sound.

Imagine a server full of people using cars like this

Exactly what I was trying to say earlier. If this happens I might starting playing with my sound off.

Don't get any big ideas
They're not gonna happen

You paint yourself white
And fill up with noise
But there'll be something missing

Now that you've found it, it's gone
Now that you feel it, you don't
You've gone off the rails

So don't get any big ideas
They're not gonna happen

You'll go to hell for what your dirty mind is thinking

YES. I would make my Elegy sound like the GTR in this video:

Skip to 1:10 or 3:30 if you don't want to watch the whole video. (I would recommend watching the whole video)
