Optimistic 1.12 will come out in next few days?

They usually announce on the newswire about an update a few days prior, and still nothing, so I'm guessing not until April.

Hopefully it will come out soon. Hopefully the update will contain heists. Hopefully my GTA V will start working again.

Seeing as tomorrow will be Sunday NY time...I really cannot see them releasing a patch, let alone one that is hotly anticipated if recent speculation is anything to go by. You'd have a better chance of R* saying something on the Newswire in the coming week, which seems likely as they have been rather quiet in regards to GTAO and Online Heists/future updates and so forth.

Doubtful. They'll make a small announcement of a new patch on Facebook or their website. Probably more fixes. I'm thinking heists will be mid 2014.

Isn't Q1 pretty much up now? Call me an expert but there's is 4 Quarters, so 12 / 4 = 3, match is 3rd month of year, meaning end of Q1. Yup, nice one, Rockstar, no matter how much you advertise your cash cards, I will NOT purchase one. I'd rather circumcise my penis with nothing but a compass rather than purchase a cash card.

 

So yeah, 1.12 WILL be released Q2 2014.

Considering Rockstar is covering the Call of Duty thing on Twitter, I would say they aren't focusing on an update release until midway through April.

It is possible that they will announce something tomorrow, although it is highly unlikely. They have announced things on a Sunday before, but it's rare that they do. Rockstar tends to post news, whether crew or DLC, on Mondays, Tuesdays, and last time they announced the business pack on a Friday.

Rockstar promised that before they realized just how much they can make off cash cards. Heists will only be released when GTA:O population drops considerably. Otherwise, there's absolutely no incentive for Rockstar to be releasing heists. I've said this before, and I'll say it again: with every new update, Rockstar brings more/new ways for us to spend money and no new ways to make money!

 

All the next update has to do is add a couple of new features (e.g. owning multiple properties and possibly wildlife), and everyone will shut up about heists for another month or two. Then, Rockstar can just release a new vehicle DLC a couple of months down the line, and rinse and repeat until GTA:O nearly dies out.

..that would introduce the 'dummy heists' where, upon job initiation, every player is kicked from the lobby with the message "Timed out loading GTA Online. Rockstar cloud servers unavailable. Press 'A' (or 'X' on PS3) to return to GTA V".
