You're lucky enough to freeze 3 times. For me, that'll be a blessing/miracle. Sometimes the game freezes up my ps3 up to 10 times a day and I wish I was exaggerating but I'm not, and it's all thanks to patch 1.11

um this is a hardware issue, obviously not a software issue, bitch and moan about ps3 and 360...Because these freezes happened all of the time before the last update right.

I had my first freeze in several days about half an hour ago. No biggie, open disc tray, restart and go back on-line.

No...but Brian B says it is...It's a conflict between a previous update and the current one. He claims to fix it all you have to do is wipe your system cache and just install the latest update...So to me in my limited understanding of all of this type of stuff is that there is a conflict between 2 of the patches they released...making it a def. software issue. f*ck You Brian

No. The latest patch brought the issue on, at least for me it did.

 

Never had the game freeze on me until after the 1.11 update.

Oh, you've not heard? Rockstar are responsible for everything, and I mean everything - WW1, WW2, poverty and famine, the Great Fire of London, daleks, painful trapped wind, piles, and rumour has it they have recently aquired a private jumbo jet.

I thought I was one of the lucky ones with the freezing... This last week, I have frozen 5 times online and twice in single player.

 

It's got so bad, I have resorted to playing minecraft on my phone (never played it before)

I've got to say... its not crashed once!

Let me get this right - $59.99 for the game,free downloadable content online....Trillion dollar cooperation is about to read this and think "My god,a fan is upset. I have freezing issues as well. Its something that has happened for me since day one but I put it down to my xbox. Its one of the original ones with a 20gb HDD so it has had plenty of hours put into it. I havent noticed any more issues than normal since the latest update (Im not arguing thats its the not the game or hardware either way - im genuinely unsure).

This issue started with Patch 1.11. It's hardly a hardware issue when both consoles have the same problems. It never happened with the patches before.

I haven't had a freeze in 2014 so I guess I'm lucky. although it does get stuck when a job is about to start after the timer hits 0, the little spinner icon keeps spinning and it says launching session but nothing happens. First 2 times I let it sit for 5 minutes nothing happened so now I wait about 30 seconds before I reset.

max Payne 3 made my ps3 freeze a lot a month or so before my bluray drive quit, I swear rockstar's games are hard on consoles.

F*ck Rockstar or the guy who can't take care of his stuff ? My 360 is 6 years old, I had like 5-8 freezes til I got the game ( release date ) and are 2 from the last update so your " THIRD FREEZE TODAY AFTER THOUSANDS OF ERRORS." isn't R* fault
