Why is there so much hatred Online?

Was in a session last night, playing with one of my girl mates who's half black half native american. She had her mate on too, a black dude that wasn't even being obnoxious at all. When some absoloute racist, southern in-bred by the sounds of it joined and asked not very politely for all the the blacks and mexicans to shut up so all the white folks could hear each other. He then proceded to tell everyone to gang up on me for being on the other side of the Atlantic from him.

1. Founded by Brits who were pissed off with there goverment

2. Slaughtered a whole peaceful race of people and stole there land

 

Points being:

 

1. Stop asking me to speak English when I am (the games made in Scotland) daft basturts

2. Your on stolen land, desendants of immagrants - YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO BE UPSET ABOUT ANYBODY BEING IN YOUR COUNTRY

 

It crashed before I could add him or even kill him

 

I add people like this to educate them/laugh how thick they are - alot of thems got more bullets than sense.

 

Got alot of genuine mates from USA but none are racist wankers

I guess it's because it's a game about killing people, and a place where people like to vent their steam.

I don't know what to say apart from Muting/changing voice chat to Crew/friends only as there's nothing you can do about it. Since everyone's anonymous over the net, they think they have the audacity to spew anything out of their mouths without any consequences.

There's too much stupid to go round. Internet video games, especially ones like gta, give people who would otherwise not leave their little hole an outlet to talk to other people in a more diverse "public" setting with a nice little anonymity safety net. And then there's people who just do it for the lulz...

The world is a hateful place. Then you go online and see that humanity is dead. Look at the Trolls. Anonymous. Kids with the ability to push a button and send so much data it shuts down servers. Kids who can hack networks and steal identities without any trouble from the law.

 

Now look at the public crimes. All races killing each other and the parents teaching it like religion.

 

I once lived in a town in the south east of America and as a white kid, I wasn't allowed outside after 7pm. I knew better. Black kids were taught that because I was white, I would have the best clothes, shoes and money. They were wrong. It instead put a fear in my heart. I was afraid all people of color acted that way.

 

I have since come to find that the whole world is in trouble. Every country has crime, murder, racism, sexism, fascism, socialism, communism... we are a world decided because we are all lost.

 

Try not to let it bother you, OP. Just remember, when the cannibals come, you don't have to be the fastest. Just he faster than a few and you'll be fine.

I think everyone should have pretty much known what they were getting into when they bought the game. Its gta!! assholes are everywhere lol there's no escape. You can play an invite only session if people are still hurting your feelings

I said it in the silly "Latin servers are best" thread last night and I'll say it here: it's a global issue and one of every color and gender. I'm not defending the PoSs you're talking about, but those kinds of people exist from every country and ethnicity on GTA. There are racist Caucasians, black people, Mexicans, Eskimos, Asians...you'll find them from everywhere, and plenty from every group. Terms like "white boy", "cracker" and "honky" sure as hell aren't used as terms of endearment in GTA, and I hear them all the time, and plenty of other slurs for the races above that I'll leave out. In all my time playing the game the amount of racism and colossal douchebaggery has been pretty equal across the board and has never been Aryans vs. The World.

 

The U.S. is definitely saturated with assholes, but people need to stop pretending that their country/race is the model the rest of the world should live by and is devoid of them. Anyone who blindly stereotypes U.S. citizens as a whole based on the behavior of others, our past, or our government (which the citizens have no part of) are as bad as the people they're criticizing. I guess it's okay to be nationalistic if you're from any other country, but as soon as you're American you're a stupid redneck yank.

Americans will be americans you just have to accept them for what and who they are mate. I have really cool american mates mostly black white and indian and they're some of the best people in the world..

first it was founded by several different nationalists not just british second america never stole any land it was paid for just because the indians thought it would be funny to take their currency because "nobody can own land" sucks for them when you pay for something you should get it (unless your ran by a corporation who dont give a f*ck about their customers)

That's why when I hear conversations in any lobby I leave. Microphone usage should be limited to free roam, and co-op missions only. I don't want to hear anyone when I'm in a TDM/DM or a Race. There are more quiet lobbies than most would think there are. If I want to talk to someone, I'll bother my wife, other than that STFU and play the game, not you OP, just in general.

So why did all the Natives get slaughterd, just for a laugh or did they start the trouble with their inferior weaponary and war hungry attitudes?.

 

Mainly British settlers at first hence the Irish-Americans making up a large majority of USA.

 

Don't get me wrong I love America, just don't like racists.
