Fix Rooftop Rumble

It seems like the only mission people play these days is Rooftop Rumble. I host other missions such as base invaders and people rarely join, whereas RTR fills up immediately. Right now RTR is too good for what it takes. I'm not saying nerf payouts. I think they need rebalanced. Other missions should pay more and RTR a little less. There is a whole game out there and right now many people are experiencing only a small percentage. Who's with me?

Yeah, I honestly wish the payout and RP were lowered due to the fact that the mission is so easy. Method in the Madness is the perfect example of a mission that should have the payout of Rooftop Rumble.

Here's my really interesting tale of woe turned to glow:

I'm a level 113 and since day one, Rooftop Rumble has not appeared in my missions list.
It really piffed me oss because all I read about was how great it was, you could farm it, etc.
Still, I couldn't play it.

I tried calling Martin who only ever gave me one mission: Water the Vineyard.
You want to talk about getting sick of doing one mission?
It got to the point where I just stopped calling Martin.

Even trying to play other people's invites led to, "the mission you are trying to join does not exist."
I was thinking that maybe I did something. Who knew?

But then, two nights ago, I joined an invite and got in!
It was absolutely the best mission I've played so far.
Best of all, it's in my missions list now and I've played it several times.

I was playing Potshot (payout $10,500 / 1475RP) and doing Survivals (which half of the winnings go to ammo).

So, for me, Rooftop Rumble is now my mission of choice.
I understand that you and a lot of others are sick of it, but for those of us just coming into it... well... think about that.

Have you tried Potshot? It's pretty fun and a really easy way to make some cash/RP in under three minutes!

Docks to Stock, Stocks and Scares, Base Invaders all pay the same amount. Several other missions pay just slightly less - method in the madness, chopper tail, american exports, defender, on maneuvers, for example. People should get more variety. I end up mostly playing RTR because it's so easy, pays a ton, and people join really quick, though.

You make it sound like you don't get RP from the other missions, though I agree they should be same or more as RTR. Ranking up 2 levels at a time as a low rank kind of takes some of the fun out of the game IMO. Once you get to 120, as I've done with several characters, what's left? Even once you get to 100 there's not much to look forward to.

They should up the cash as you all said before me for other missions. Harder missions pay peanuts and you can't get mad at someone for no wanting to do them. Now with that being said RTR or RR is easy to do by one's self so you can farm alone. Because playing with others they get a little "trigger happy" and boom there goes the document. So factor this in, you can play it by yourself, get alot of rp and cash fast, and complete it in a pretty fast time. How can anyone hate that?

As for the missions issue, yeah, things need to be balanced more. Missions like RR are easy and high paying, while others are harder and payout less. It doesn't make sense.

It looks like some people agree with me, and I bet others do who haven't posted yet. I'm not arguing we should make less money. The game is no fun without money. Kind of ridiculous a paint job can cost 50K or more. I just think there should be more balance so people can enjoy everything the game has to offer without grinding the same thing over and over. I'm pretty sure it's going to change soon anyway.

It's all about raising the rp and money on other missions. It's not smart to have a short simple mission that rewards the most and hard missions take takes 15 minutes to complete to have half the money and a 4th of the rp. What R* should have done from the beginning is to gradually raise the difficulty on every new mission you get when you are leveling and at the same rate raise the rp or money. Some missions should have good rp and some other missions should have good payout.

Edit: And they have to raise the rp and money on versus missions and grab the bag. Grab the bag was easily the funniest missions in Red Dead Redemption and im sure GTA V Grab the bag has the same potential, but only if the payout is worth it.

You appear to be missing the point. What if there were a bunch that were the highest? Not one exclusively.

It was fun at first with all that RP and money but now since it's the only thing I see when I quick join contact missions
