Two days ago I've downloaded GTA VCS mod based on San Andreas and installed it. It works well but it's still in BETA and is update from time to time. I know that there are mods for this but I wanted to create it myself, how to do it? What tools do I need? etc. etc. help is always wanted...

There's pretty muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch work if you want to convert one game to another. If you've got too much free time, go on. But otherwise, you will rage pretty soon.

I know there's too much work for that, but all the modding teams that convert one game into (for example: GTA SA engine) they make a couple of betas and stop working on the mod... so I came up with the idea to convert all games (from III to VCS) into GTA SA engine... anyway tnx for the link goodidea82

Except the VCSPC team are still working on their mod, this stuff isn't as easy as drag and dropping files. There are already so many stories conversions being worked on right now, and they're all being done by pretty big teams. You won't be able to do it by yourself.

Are you serious? They're using the best textures they can from both versions and the mod is based on the final PS2 version.

I don't think that SA's limits go that far. People have been able to get two maps in there, but no more. VC has had the limits stretched the most. It has been able to get all of VC, LC, and SA into it.

Wrong. We can spawn more objects on screen without problems in SA then any other III era GTA.

And 3 maps have been done.. http://gtaforums.com/topic/681916-wipsa-gta-sol-trilogy-map-version-5/
