Headset Advice

Hello,

 

I made the xbox360 to ps3 switch about 5 years ago. One thing I noticed was that the voice chat was clearer on the xbox, but then again I've always had a sh*tty logitech cordless headset.

 

It broke last night and I've got 2 options. get the crappy 8 quid giotech one or 35 turtle beach one. I don't really care about comfort or anything like that just pure audible sound quality. Does it make listening to people on the a decent headset make them significantly clearer?
