Multiple Endings (No Spoilers)

Do you like multiple endings in GTA IV & V?

I don't.

Cause then you get a huge discussion/argument about which ending is canon and which is not.

What do you think?

Well, multiple endings are good, but only if the endings themselves are good. Ending B was terrible, A was OK, and C was good. :)

For GTA VI, R* should do only one ending, unless if they can think of good multiple endings.

Non Funkable Token

Multiple endings mean more in-game action to enjoy.

Trevor haters can choose A, Michael haters can choose B, the rest can choose C. Only Franklin haters get screwed

I'm OK with it.

Multiple endings are great.

No ending is canon, since no GTA as of now is a sequel of another.

HOW'S ANNIE?

I quite like multiple endings, leaves a bit more replay value. Screw all this canon ending bullsh*t, ever ending is equally as canon.

But for VI I think they should be a bit more balanced out. For example, you're working for a corrupt DEA agent who tasks you with killing your best friend. Only thing is that this DEA agent is the only one who can get your brother out of prison. So basically you're left with either killing your best friend, or letting your brother rot in prison.

I agree on ending B, but ending A was quite a good ending.

I will pwn you newbs

I'm fine with multiple endings (in IV it was good) in V the multiple endings make no sense whatsoever. C is the obvious choice and the only one that makes any sense. Why the hell would Devin Weston be like A or B? When he only wants one of those things. Doing one doesn't satisfy the other

Vercetti family

I think it is a lot easier to choose an ending for GTA V , but I don't think so about GTA IV. It seems hard to not have a choice to save all of your friends, since either Roman or Kate McReary will die in deal or

Revenge, respectively. But I think it's kinda easy in IV too because neither of the aforementioned friends

Are worthy. Only 1. Causing trouble 2. nagging around and complaining 3. Kate doesn't reward you

With anything and just complains about her brothers. I chose revenge myself.

It's pretty obvious that the c ending is the "proper" one- everyone lives happily ever after... except for Devin and all those other bosses/gangs/cops that is.

The real 'game' came in the order you chose to do a, b and c. You have to finish c then a and b because otherwise you lose Michael and Trevor to finish the game with.

I think A is Trevor. Not sure because I refuse to kill him or Michael.

Option C is canon btw.

Lol, C is nowhere near canon.

No endings are canon, but the closest is Option A.

I agree with this. Why would Haines or Weston just be like, ok Franklin killed one of them, it's cool that the guy I wanted dead is still alive. Especially on the kill Trevor ending, as Michael has information that could implicate Haines on a lot of illegal things he has done. I doubt Haines would just let him go. It would make more sense for Franklin to have to kill both Michael and Trevor, or at least one of them and then the other is killed by Weston/Haines, but I see why R* wouldn't do that gameplay wise.

But it really doesn't matter which one is canon or whatever as characters never get reused and if they do it's just a small appearance. Who knows if the games on the new systems will be considered the same "era" as Gta IV and V either.

Considering Rockstar said "substantial dlc continuing the adventures of Michael, Franklin & Trevor" I think we can assume that C is the canon ending

I like Multiple Endings

But I hate having to lose any one protagonist after having 'hard' earned money.

And I like all Protagonists. So,I am with Master Race C

I hate Devin. He always gets on my nerves. He deserves to die.
