if u fully mod ur cars n don't upgrade the tires n suspension then u have a good handling car.

 

im usin the firebird, n skyline, 2 cars with really realli good drift handling and don't forget the insane amount of traffic they fit in n yet the game doesn't even lag is just f*cking awesome.

I think people bitch about things way too much these days, that said, OP does have a point: i.e. no good peel outs, no tire spin in 2nd and 3rd gear for muscle cars, just not very high on the cool factor over-all.

 

That said if it were too realistic it would be annoying. I don't mind getting used to however each game does it differently. I liked GTA IV's driving more than most people and it seems I like GTA V's driving more than most people.

It really isn't that count and dry. There's a few Yamaha YZF-R1 lap times of Nurburgring that are only bested by a very small selection of cars for example.

Fastest bikes in the world are comfortably slower than fastest cars is the World around circuits. Both in motorsport and in street legal machines.
