Will Reporting a Garage Glitcher Be Worth It?

When i entered a session a couple minutes ago i was shot at with a mini-gun but i was on passive so i wasn't killed and i caught the guy on video along with his gametag and as soon as i told him he was being reported and he was on video he left the session so i couldn't report him though the game which i wasn't going too and then he sent me a msg saying good luck reporting me bitch.

 

I didn't respond but...

 

Does anybody know if R* has actually punished anybody who were caught on video doing this glitch?

Who knows, but be prepared for snitches get stitches. And snitches get banned as well onslaught.

I don't think so, they're still doing it a month later, You knew to be in Passive Mode even in your Garage, that seems to be the only solution till R* can patch it.

Actually i was already in passive mode from my previous session and i spawned inside my garage when i went online from story mode so i got lucky with that aspect because i wasn't even thinking about it.

 

I've got nothing to worry about i don't report people for greifing or anything but when they do crap like this they deserve to be reported

If you got their game tag. Find them on SC. If they are in a crew. Message their crew leader. Tell them what this scumbag is doing whilst representing THEIR crew. Only takes a minute. Who knows they may get kicked or demoted, then you will have the last laugh.

Btw when this happens look at the park (sp legalise drugs missions), the dot of the intruder must appear there, and if you are lucky you will find his car... enjoy with it at pleasure

there is no point in banning these cowards as they all use alt accounts. As long as R* fix the problem it will be all right.... Till they find something else to break.

If you got their game tag. Find them on SC. If they are in a crew. Message their crew leader. Tell them what this scumbag is doing whilst representing THEIR crew. Only takes a minute. Who knows they may get kicked or demoted, then you will have the last laugh.

You will never see him again anyway. Why waste so much time reporting him? The guys behind the support system tend to ignore cheater/glitcher reports anyway.

After reporting them, always go back into the menu system and give them a poor gamer rating so the game engine stops you from meeting them in a future session.

What if their crew are all about gitching?Yes, fair enough. Then your out of luck. Also if it's one of the very big crews. But if you feel strongly about it then it's worth a quick look. Your right, the crew page will help you decided if it's worth the bother. Edited by Nomad0202

There will be so many similar reports that it'll take them a while to get to this guy. I wouldn't get your hopes up of a quick ban for someone you'll probably never encounter again.

I'd just forget about it tbh.

I've been killed twice by these bitches and both times I've just called for a car, then carried on with what I was planning on doing. Is it really worth bothering so much about getting killed once? Any time I've encountered these fools they've been standing about pulling their wires getting maybe 1 kill every 10 minutes or so, while everyone else in the session is playing the game.

plot twist... you get to the SC site and look at the hierarchy ladder and notice that the one youre about to report is actually the crew leader!

Hey if your gonna be a pussy and hide in your apt while having a bounty you better bet I am coming in there to get your ass, I don't give warning I just come and get you, but on the nice side I always give you the money and tell you to have a nice day, if your a douche bag with a tank I am taking your ass out from underground and once you get to your garage, don't hate when I run in there and blow all your cars up and make your ass pay for them. There is times where doing it is great and other times its just plain dumb.

I think the best coding solution to the garage problem is if you fire a weapon in a garage or apartment... you lose all your weapons, ammo and weapon mods, Sure Rockstar could try and patch the exploit that lets you equip a weapon inside those locations but someone might just find away around that.
