an Elgato would work for you, but i use a huappauge. And as said from others above, be funny, original, and dont beg for likes and subs. Nobody will watch your vids then. Another thing i like to do is keep your intro short, nobody wants to see 30 seconds of self promotion with subscribe plastered everywhere.

You need a PC with enough horsepower to keep up with the video stream, and you need a big hard disk to hold all the gigabytes.

 

Also, you need some kind of video editing software to splice together the clips and to add the audio.

 

EDIT; I use the Elgato box with a quad-core i7 CPU. I probably have over 100 GB of video just screwing around in case anything interesting happens. I am using PS3, but the Elgato will work with either console.

You can download the software needed to record with the Elgato from Elgato's website. For video editing, I recommend Adobe Premiere Pro or Sony Vegas.

I prefer the Haupauge, but the gaming edition plus, I like being able to hook up old consoles and do some retro gaming vids, but any device should be good enough for gta v vids.
