Everyone re-watch the multiplayer trailer

Please do. Especially all the people who say the game was made so you can kill everyone. I want you all to look at what players hoped the GTA:O universe would be like. People cruising and doing fun freeroam things together like car shows and dirtbiking and hanging out in apartments. Not blowing each other up or killing each other senselessly. Rockstar's intentions were for people to be friendly and only kill each other if they had a decent reason.

i joined a session as my level 20 character and i got assaulted by a crew of level 100s with their mics on, they had snobby voices and sounded like scrawny white teens

Not true, OP. While the game's intent is not to kill each other, it's called FREE roam for a reason. Free to roam and do whatever the hell you want.

That was Rockstar's vision on the online to be but that does not equal the same vision as others that play their game.

 

Me personally I do not mess with others but if you mess with me you wont hear the end of it but if you come by and be peaceful i will hang out.

Those are the little children who say "It's GTA so we are supposed to kill and act like dickheads." Although, I did find a few lobbies that were somewhat like what the trailer shown. Most of the lobby had the cops on us and we did donuts around cop cars. So much fun.

Ok yea they wanted to try and make V that way, but as all the series have been is killing, robbing, jacking cars, hoes, bitches, sex, drugs, killing kids with annoying voices, killing more kids with annoying voices, and idk if I said it yet but the main focus was blowing the sh*t outta the town with a tank. You should check the Find a group forum; there's often a meet planned where everyone shows off their cars.

ah yes, but when most of the community is out PvPing then it is kind of hard to just play it however you want. thus the reasoning in my mind as to why they also put TDM and DM in the game. only most people are too spoiled or lazy to take the few seconds it takes to use it. then again when out PvPing in the open lobbies it gives people the convenient excuse that they would've "gotten the other guy" if t wasn't for the cops/army/gangs/npc's or other random players as a reason for someone getting the best of them.

OP maybe you should try, and draft up your own version of the Geneva Convention for the city of LS. Good luck in your endeavors if you choose to do such a task lol. All that life you wished for, does exist in those private crew sessions, free roam is Mogadishu, with a side order of Bosnia and Serbia combined, nothing more, nothing less.
