Extradition solo - buzzard or lazer?

Which do you prefer? Which is quicker/easier?

 

I've tried it once each way and I can see advantages to both...I suspect that with more lazer practice that might be my choice but right now I'm a better buzzard pilot.

I go to Sandy Shores, and grab a Lazer. It's good practice on how to use the cannon guns without crashing.

Buzzard let me give you a little tip people always seem to not know...

 

Don't fly into the base and set off the alarm fly to the outside of the base to the side where the plane is sitting on the tarmac and lock onto it with your rockets, you'll blow the plane up before it even has a chance to get off the ground so you don't have to chase after it then turn 360 degrees and destroy the car as it drives by.

Buzzard, only to land easily to pick up to document after the car chase. Other than that its a toss up.

Lazer, cause a couple of times, taking out the plane with the cannons gave me no wanted level.

It always amazes me the amount of players who don't know about the Lazers at Sandy Shores and go straight into FZ. If I solo this mission, even on hard, it's bish bash bosh. Do it with other players and it takes a freaking age.

I always jump on the mic in the lobby to tell everybody about it and that i am calling for merryweather to come pick us up but if they don't heed my suggestions and go and do it there way then i just fly around and make them do the mission by themselves and if they die i won't finish it.

Lazer is my vehicle of choice, have gotten pretty good at short landings and vertical landings so it is much quicker. Only slow part is getting one.

Related question: wheres a good place to be when starting the mission? First time I was near hill valley church (west of sand shores on the way to zancudo) and it started me on the main road there. Second time I was on the grapeseed side heading to sandy shores and it started me by the bridge to the zancudo entrance...so where to start for the shortest drive to sandy shores? If you prefer buzzard, is it quicker to start near a city helipad?

If you drive into the base from the east jump (the mountain lip that jumps you at those bleachers), you can get to the plane and stick it before it takes off (it doesn't start to take of until you get to the marker), jump in one of the lazers sitting around the base, set off sticky, then go take out the limo. If I am having trouble hitting the limo, I just bail out and request PV, then drive up to it and stick it.

 

With other people, I am always surprised how many do it wrong, in my opinion anyways (everyone rushes the base right away), if one guy goes to limo spawn and one drives in and sticks the cargo plane, mission over in like 4 minutes. I see no need to get a vehicle from Sandy. Most of the time I have been in a lobby with people that go to Sandy, by the time they got back with their vehicle we already have the briefcase (while they are screaming into the mic that we are doing it wrong). I don't really care if you go to Sandy, I just prefer to do it fast, and I think my method is the fastest possible.

In fairness, I only know about the lazers because I decided to use my buzzard and it spawned at sandy shores... But yeah if they won't listen when you tell them...

I snipe the engines outside of the fence jump my car in if need be finish titan off with a rpg run to a tower parachute out steal a car kill the other target hide in the ocean and go to martin

Lazer if you can use the cannons. Just get the jet from Sandy shores, fly towards the base, fire your cannons at the titan, wait for the limo to spawn, strafe and blow it up with the cannons, lose the cops or call Lester, land near by, pick up the documents, get in the jet, fly to Martin's house and do an upside down ejection into the marker

I didn't know about until about the third time I played - I was driving to Zancudo with a crewmate ready to jump the fence and notice the plane icon on the mini-map.

 

Lazer all the way now, even if landing on the GOH can be a bit tricky.

I don't have a buzzard or I would use that.

True that....I played SO much potshot to buy the thing I look at every mission description I get and ask can I buzzard this? If yes, accept. If no, crystal clear out 3.
