Nervousity before races

Anyone else being pretty nervous before racing with randoms? Just the paranoia of getting pitted or hit by a wrong way driver in the last turn.

OP, i would try to avoid this feeling tbh, i could only imagine that it affects your overall playing skills if your nervous...

Uh.....no. The only time I was ever nervous in my life was during Prom night and I'm sure most people are unless it's just me

i look at it as adrenaline. helps me out a lot in races.

I'm usually chill. Focus and you'll do fine. If not, then who cares? If someone tries to pit me, I'll be like, "that motherf*cker" and keep racing. If he does pit me, I go all rage, try to pit him when I can but I don't make it my mission. I just worry about not taking anyone out and finish the race.

No, not really...I always expect the worst from my fellow GTAo racers and that way I am never dissapointed... To be honest tho, I an constantly pleansantly surprised by the good races I do end up having.

 

The racing is fun, but not a super cereal racing sim, so it's all for laughs and something else to do with my Hot Wheels collection

second of all.... my answer to your question is NO. Why would I be? It's part of the game, it's how the game was made. It's the whole point of the game and racing... IT'S GRAND THEFT AUTO.... stop crying

It's not before races, it's when I finally take the lead, especially if its very early and I know I have a long time to maintain...

I'm usually more paranoid when racing w/ crew members.

With randoms its a different ball game.

I f*cking LOVE when I reluctantly play "long haul" and after doing the slip stream dance for most of the race, the idiots that chose the race always crash at that left hand turn at the off ramp on the highway...

No. I always race as if the others are going to pit me.

Not really...maybe very slightly anxious back in the day when I was 1 or 2 race wins from unlocking the next big upgrade for the car but all I was doing was putting pressure on myself.
